The problem with the RNS seems to be that someone very familiar with matters assumes that what they are saying is obvious to others.

It seems that we do not have the licences back at Migori. However, we can reapply on a "priority basis". This refers to section 56 of the Mining Act 2016. All existing licenses had to reapply under the Act to ensure that they operated under new health and safety and environmental standards.

So what this seems to mean is that RRR has to reapply under the same process as the other license holders post the Mining Act 2016 ie., it is being treated as though it were an existing license holder.

What does priority mean? It means that RRR's application gets considered before anyone else's: see section 56.

So RRR now has to go to the cost of submitting the new application and it must abide by the Mining Act 2016. No idea as to timing, cost or process but it seems RRR will have to submit a new business plan. Maybe AB will enlighten us in due course.

It is pretty easy to find out who has O&G assets in SW T&T and who they are mates with..

In T&T they either use Petroteq's technology or very something similar; the methods used in Canada are not going to be used in T&T.

Sorry don't know much about them. One source says they are okay, one of them did 400bopd when first turned on, another says they should do 200bopd each once worked over. This is what the review is all about, getting to the possible and not fevered speculation. There is a technique called a liquid frack that might be worth looking at; supposedly it is cheaper, better and gives a longer lasting result. I don't know if it has been tried on the Austin Chalk.

There is always a compromise agreement with these deals. It will be to ensure compliance.

Well I won't point the finger but it shows just how much damage was caused by intemperate and ill-judged behaviour.

Given that the company was determined yesterday to not comment on those things until they have done the full review I probably can't comment but it is four assets and not two:

1. Zink Ranch
2. Stockdale
3. Gonzalez County
4. Forrest Hill

It is down to what production they can confirm and if they can get a CPR/Reserves report out. Getting a CPR out/reserves report requires them to get stabilised production over a period of time. They did indicate that they would seek to get one or the other out in early 2019.

In the short term a big driver will be news on PQE. Obviously, the paperwork and permitting side of things is proving harder than they expected.
