The original nameplate capacity was intended to be 1,000 bopd. The process has been changed since it was originally started: it may be that they can more than 1,000 bopd through it in due course but that would be the first big achievement.
The trick is to gradually increase the throughput and keep it in a steady state. If you keep pushing it, eventually you will get a blockage. The augers are new and the shaker beds are new. The heater is bigger and I think so are the centrifuges.
1,000 bopd will be just fine but 1,300 would be better. To get a bigger plant you need more feed trains and centrifuges.
Variously, the next plant should be 5,000, 6,000 or 10,000 bopd. No reason why they can't put multiple trains on one site: though whether you want just one production site with multiple trains but long feedstock transportation times and costs or multiple sites closer to 10 years of feedstock for each train is an operational research decision.
