RE: GOLD ON THE UP $1,981.2022 Oct 2023 09:49
Bratt,
it is actually six gold projects. We also have Cote d'Ivoire and Migori is really two projects. Kenya i is the Macaldar Tailings and the hard rock project.
We have one licence issued in Cote d'Ivoire and we await the issue of a second.
On Migori Dukey is an expert. Three years ago he bet £1,000 that RRR would never get the licences back. He said he would pay the £1,000 to Christie's Hospital in Manchester if he was wrong. He was wrong but has never paid the £1,000. In his book that makes him an expert.
Just as RRR is looking to bring ALR into production now (after one false start) so it is looking to bring Burkina Faso into production now. AB confirmed last week that the "implementation team" was on its way to BF to sort out what was needed to bring it into production asap. Note, not scoping team, not planning team, not lets have kin chat and talk about the weather team but the "implementation team".
For the single cell organisms on here:
"the process of putting a decision or plan into effect; execution"
So the decision has been made, now it is time for the doing.
On Migori, RRR said that some of the funds raised via the CLN were to be used in Kenya. Make of that what you will. My view is that the renewal is a done deal. We have to give up some land as part of the renewal process so we will have to concentrate on the more prospective land. I expect that we will, finally, look to do a JV on the Macalder tailings and then do a bit of drilling to increase the JORC on Migori.
NB the rise in the gold price "should" make it easier to IPO NBGC.
