Dukey, let me explain this to you very simply.

The legislation is in SI 5 2023 and SI 57 2023.

What is says is that Spodumene has to be at least 3% grade to be exported and that you need an export licence or similar arrangement to be able to export.

If you don't have both you can't export.

Export is when something crosses the border from one country to another. When that trucks crosses the border to Mozambique it has been exported.

To cross the border but the Zim authorities and the Mozambique authorities have to be happy with the paperwork: that includes have evidence that the royalties have been paid to Zim.

In trying to be a clever d i ck you entirely miss the point: ALR/RRR is able to export and has exported. Who else in Zim can export?

The first step is move the material to Harare, then you have to sort out all the necessary paperwork, then it has to be shipped to the border, then it has to cross the border and then it makes it to Beira. Then the local agent in Beira, holds it in his warehouse and then puts it on the first boat our of Beira to China.

Maidit, I need to qualify that statement re Lepidolite. There is no market for selling Lepidolite to China profitably; they have their own supplies of lepidolite in China.

1. The first 200 tonnes. It doesn't mean it will be the only 200 tonnes.

2. Before committing to exporting thousands of tonnes, RRR/ALR needs to do its test runs to make sure it has a system that works.

3. The company has not exported before and will learn from the first loads going out.

4. Who else is currently exporting from Zimbabwe? Not many.

5. How much has KOD and/or Prem exported?

6. The original plan was sell at the gate but that had to be changed given the new rules.

7. RRR will have a revenue-generating business, isn't that what everyone was complaining about? No revenue.

8. Once a few export runs have been done, then the system can be tweaked and optimised.

9. Once ALR/RRR knows it has a system that can handle thousands of tonnes a month, then it can step things up.

10. No point in committing to shifting say, 10k tonnes pm, incurring costs and then finding out that the system can't handle it.

11. This is a complex system that needs managing properly, just charging in would be the wrong thing to do. Lots and lots of paperwork that needs to be correct and in the right place and the right time. The old model was much easier.

12. I expect that we can supply as much demand as is out there, in due course.
