Just to let you know Glencore is halting its production at the Miranda mine in Congo at the end of the year and placed on care and maintenance due to the mine not being economically viable !! Dukey you really are a complete fantasist. The "in my opinion" is cover for let's make something up that I know nothing about and don't understand.

You don't understand what a "statement of case" or a "statement of loss" is. If you pursue someone, you have to say how you lost out and what your loss is. The court then deals with it as appropriate. Legally stuff 101 is, you throw the kitchen sink at the loss quantum. I could quite easily build a case that the loss is $10bn: unlike you, I do numbers. I know how the report would be structured and the assumptions made. If fact, I did a rough one for RRR a couple of years back.

Tragic and the other trolls were the ones who said that Musonoi was worth nothing and that if Glencore wanted it they would have it: RRR only got it because it was worth nothing and Glencore didn't want it. Well I was 100% right they were 100% wrong: I was saying a deal could be done to sell it to Glencore for between $50m and $100m quite easily. Well Glencore did want it and paid $430m for it.

You seem familiar with ED drugs.....

Soma are on with bringing El Limon into production: they said in December that it would be late Q1/early Q2. The current statement is H1 24. They have repeatedly said they will produce 8,000oz in 2024, 12,000oz in 2025 and 16,000oz in 2026. My view is that them losing their CEO has slowed them down. Hopefully he comes back sooner rather than later.

If you take your shoes and socks off you might be able to work out what that means for RRR at current prices...

I could comment but I probably shouldn't because it would start all the trolls squealing. Let's see what next week brings.... it is not a holiday in DRC.

At least get your numbers right. All in USD. If you read some of the things I post you might learn something. Gold is about marginality.

If your cost of production is $900/Oz and the price is $1,500 then you make $600 an ounce. If the price is $2,100 then you make $1,200/Oz. Small movements in the gold price make a material difference to profits. So a 40% price movement has doubled profits.

So what were marginal schemes become wildly profitable. Getting two alluvial schemes into production asap will be very good business for RRR.
