Always found it hilarious that people filter out the views they don’t want to hear, but sadly now I have had no choice. @dreammachine’s content and views are up to him, but the shear frequency of his posts shows that he actually believes that he can influence something here.

As somebody who a actually wishes to pick the brains of the intelligent people on here it is really rather frustrating because a couple of people have trashed this board.

Anyway, just used the filter for the first time.

Results are to June so I don’t really see how they can be underwhelming Magsy. Surely you’re not expecting big sales to end of June? Is anyone expecting anything to shout about in the results? What we’re hoping for is some nice updates, but to be honest I don’t think anybody is expecting anything there either! No news is already priced in here.

Alah4uk, I’m as irritated as the next person, but your facts were not quite right that’s all. Happy to old for all the reasons I said earlier and no reason to doubt the company. PR not been good and possibly they would have targeted different markets if they had know approvals would take so long. Not saying brilliant job, but they’ve not lied about stuff which is what you were implying.

They haven’t made any forecast claims that they have failed to meet, so I actually have no reason to not believe the £45m - £60m forecast. It’s above and beyond current mcap by circa £40m without covid factored in, so I stand by my claim that there are plenty of reasons to believe this is a great buy right now.

Granted we all want more sales, but they didn’t miss forecasts as you implied.

...but DO BUY THIS STOCK if you do know what you’re buying into? You make lots of sense.

If I had a clean slate I would definitely invest in GDR right now!

- £8m odd in the bank
- £45m - £60m forecast from hearing test
- covid testing not actually going anywhere, they are not going to give a vaccine and stop testing, that would be ridiculous and incredibly naive
- developing countries are going to struggle to vaccinate population wide anyway
- the future is the 10 mins POC or LFT tests to support the vaccine. Going to take many months (my guess a year) of testing to prove the vaccine and check for mutations.

£30m mcap is very low based on this, so invest in GDR now, definitely!

There’s no way they are fully trusting ANY vaccine for at least 12 months. Think about the reality for a minute!

Less cases - brilliant, really hope so.
Less testing - maybe a little bit, but still huge, huge volumes worldwide.

Testing is not going anywhere until they know for absolute certain that the vaccine works, the virus hasn’t mutated and that is disappeared. And that, my friends, ramper or deramper, takes quite some time!

Haha and allah, genuine question so please try and remove any agenda from the answer. Do you think they’ll stop testing because people have had the vaccine? Even if the whole population had been vaccinated they would surely still do a poc test if symptoms appeared.

I just can’t see them risking a repeat of this for the sake of a 10 min test. Not for a fair while anyway.

Let’s be real for one second. Making comments like the “big boys” are better off is nonsense. If there’s one thing I’m glad if it’s that we arguably had little COVID factored in, if the hearing test forecasts are to be believed.

The real bonus of that is that nobody was expecting to take over the world with our covid test. There is still more than enough demand to meet our sales expectations and top up our low mcap.

The only way testing disappears is when the virus disappears or the whole world has a vaccine. Both miles from happening, if they ever do.

The only thing I’m annoyed about is that I don’t have the funds available to lower my average.

The testing lab, sure, but wouldn’t mind betting the POC is GDR and LFT is AVCT, both coming from Cardiff.

Nice find. 5 years at Genedrive now Cytiva Development Scientist based in Wales. Seems highly likely the POC they are referring to in your previous link must be GDR. Don’t really see why they’d use any others with Cytiva further developing there.

This could be the nailed on contract DB was looking to secure before results, hence the delay.

Quite possibly. Would make perfect sense with local Cytiva labs that they’d use a GDR and AVCT combination.

Surely now the government need to be supporting the full UK pharma industry, using and trialing every test available to them? First Liverpool, eventually London. This is huge volumes.

I think POC with positive test checked by PCR is the most likely outcome of all this.

Not sure the NCYT PCR has a 15 min result time?

Sorry @haha, only just picking up on this. So you’re saying that out of the 810,467 positive cases in the UK, about 753,734 actually don’t have the virus? Not trying to be difficult, just intrigued!

That means that death rate on genuine positives is scary high.

@haha are you sure you’re reading the numbers the right way round? GDR’s 98.2% specificity means 1.8% false positives.
