My thinking is that the world is moving from a pandemic to an endemic with covid and starting to wake up.

US shale can no longer satisfy demand growth like it used to. The CEOs of shale would be fired if they did not return dividends to investors or share buy backs. Also todays banks want out of oil with COP26 and such like. But you have to think that without shale we would have an energy crisis worse than it is already. Super majors haven't invested really in to oil over the last seven years, with pressure now from the greens and with it taking years to bring on meaningful supply. Opec too are exhausting their spare capacity of oil with 2022 looking like an issue. But global oil demand will grow for decades. Oil is used to produce so many products.

Oil inventories dictate oil prices and it is hard to get real time data. Though there is expensive software like Kepla that uses satellite imagery to watch vessels carrying oil and tankers in real time an artificial intelligence on a one week basis.

The global population will just keep growing and we could be looking at an 85% decline in oil production by 2050 to just over 11m barrels per day.

So... my point is Brent Oil price will rise over the next decades and Wressle will become an extremely valuable asset for Union Jack Oil alone. But of course we have Biscathorpe an West Newton too.

Who will be kicking themselves for not adding at this extremely low price ? Not me. I have added more.

Adrian.. you make it sound like the recent rise here is due to the Biscathorpe planning decision next week, which would be great, but you strangely have not mentioned the recent Wressle great news.

We had confirmation yesterday that we have now passed the one million net dollars and are banking more every day. In my mind this is what has attracted new investment here. Wressle has much more to offer and the revised CPR and flow rates will, imo, give a further boost to the price.

7,000 sq ft of gas produces 1mw hour.... at that rate the net profit to ujo is approx £80,000 per month with a cost base of £35k, for all the partners, that’s the thick end of an extra £1m profit p.a net to #ujo on the 480,000 sq ft of gas per day!!

I especially like his closing comments :

A number of things stand out to me here, firstly and most obviously that it is very creditable to have already taken a million dollars of net revenue following the work at Wressle in the summer. Secondly the management deserve really serious plaudits for continuing to show faith in the project when others had none and that through various mechanisms have taken their stake to today’s 40%, now hugely profitable for the long term.

Finally it seems that the market place has taken these successes at way below their real value to UJO whilst concentrating unduly on other assets notably West Newton. The here and now suggests that Wressle itself is a fine, valuable asset and should be celebrated as such but for now the totality of UJO is in great nick and the shares are way too low considering that inherent value.
