It is not as easy as drill a hole and open up the taps an the oil will flow. You clearly suffer from energy ignorance n believe it is just like a tap in your bathroom. My bullish thesis is based on how this is going to come an bite us very soon.

Saudi production is just about the highest it has ever been at the moment and sustained. They pumped higher in 2015-2016 but it damaged their reservoirs. So they pump for 3-4 months when they have a price war. They are pretty much maxed out along with UAE. The rest of OPEC is already declining.

Best place to think things through.

I can't reiterate enough what a major fck up policy makers & Greta have made on global oil supply over next decade.

Long haul flights are only just picking up. Interestingly I learnt that the most fuel is used when planes are cruising so these long haul flights will take a lot of the supply of oil . USA DUC's 'only' 200 decent ones left. India car sales/combustion engines last 6 months rocketing. Satellite imagery of India shows how lit up at night the country is compared to ten years ago with them emerging to want to match the western life style.

With higher highs for Brent Oil coming....production companies will make massive free cash flow with dividends/share buybacks

I spent some time looking at some very detailed analysis this weekend which is actually shocking and worrying in terms of how fast the inventories are dropped globally V the demand for oil. What is being reported in the media is no where near accurate to the true picture of what is unfolding here. Business is business though and if the protestors had got there way at West Newton last week we would be licking our wounds... but we are not.

There have been some very bad policy decisions by world leaders pressured by the greens and we are about to see this come very apparent over the next few years. To think that USA are handing out fuel tokens after a couple of months rise in Brent. Boris Johnson coming back empty handed from Saudi looking for oil. Ouch this is going to hurt what is coming. We may see an Iran deal next week but that will not fix the deficit that we are facing globally.

For Wressle and as a fossil fuel supporter I know I have made the right decision with my investment and see £1 easily on Wressle asset alone. Wow we have an exciting year ahead of us all as the West Newton story unfolds. Let's hope the council are set to stump up the costs for Biscathorpe too because with the energy crisis we are in that well should be being drilled 'now' and not delayed.

It is fair to say that Oil production companies large and small will be making extremely good profits as Brent oil price will be on an upward trajectory over the mid-long term. Only demand destruction will now stop this.
