we had a very interesting 30 minutes with miles newman who explained in depth the ease of obtaining land to drill, the seismic which they did themselves as they had all their own equipment and how mineral rights were dealt with. quite interestingly, you can literally drill wherever you like in oklahoma even if the farmer doesn't want you to drill on his land. he gets a payment for his inconvenience, a further payment is made to mineral rights owners who they can trace and cash paid into an escrow for any they cant, in case they come out of the woodwork later. equipment is incredibly easy to obtain, for most it is a case of literally 'going to the store' and it's delivered later that day or the next. miles was very animated with this new relationship with union jack and came across very well. interestingly, he said he felt 5-6 wells could be drilled on the andrews site and he said this was an exceptional formation. as for the flow rates, until they get the gas piped in, which is seemingly quite active, they can't stabilise the oil. there was no suggestion anywhere that they were disappointed in this first well and expect to announce the spudding of the next one very soon.

How comes David has to be careful answering questions at AGM yet gave an interview year ago or so (17p) about his confidence in share price rising an it later fell 50% ?! Maybe explains why no interviews since.

AGM today, attendance was fair.

All resolutions passed.

good Q&A afterwards with some good questions posed to board, few were of a semi sensitive nature & therefore David had to be careful answering. #UJO

I think the only thing here that is grim is the share price 😂😂

The bottom line is David has been voted back in an the company is now viewed as a lifestyle company by many on this board.

Clearly the votes were not in his favour as they were in the past, an this imo is reflected in the RNS unchuaratilisically not showing the results of the poll as in the past.

Nobody has said they went to the AGM which supports the poor volume of buys for Union Jack now.

I would say unless Reabold get their act together to mobilise West Newton interest here will remain poor with trust an confidence in the company at an all time low.

I also have an issue with the sells that show regularly versus any buys. We know there have been numerous leaks here when the company places. I observe an wonder who is still playing this company with the sells ?! Surely new investors who appeared at the 13.5ps must be underwater along side many long term holders.

You can lobby David all you like but he will continue to earn an inflated salary from any profits here at shareholders' expense.
