My understanding is the Wressle gas to grid is no where near as complex as you are suggesting nor time consuming .

Lets look at something important that occurred last week..

OPEC+ cut production as they will not support price caps.

Biden will not like this, but then Saudi will not want to entertain caps either.

This was quite pivotal as it shows OPEC+ are acting in their own interest an geopolitically not supporting Biden an the USA.

Venezuela is years off of production.

Iran can come back faster but a deal isn’t looking good. SPR is draining an so are global inventories.

Wressle's CPR was totally misunderstood an that will become clearer as production figures show in 2023 including gas to grid.

Revenues will rocket here for Wressle.

If we are still in a closed period I ask myself why ?

Anybody holding energy stocks will be handsomely rewarded imo over the next few years.

Shell in particular are a big player on the Monopoly board of the area where Union Jack's assets sit. I am sure they will be looking to put a few hotels. The blue hydrogen hub of the UK an it's Gas Gas Gas....buy that please !

This was a reply I had from Mark Abbott, Mirasol :

'Regarding the gas utilisation at Wressle, the statement is correct in that gas sales are targeted for this coming winter i.e. by end February 2023, although this of course does rely on all of the planning, permitting and equipment availability working to a tight schedule. The local low pressure gas grid has sufficient capacity and the processing equipment required is not extensive (we would only export at 7 bar pressure) and should be readily available in the time frames. We also continue to review other options which could provide an earlier route to monetise gas such as electricity generation and export although the local network capacity is the challenge here.'
