Are you not following today's news an the implications for West Newton ?!

It is a shame the operators did not get on. West Newton has sat idle long enough as has the gas at Wressle. Abbott should have progressed that much faster.

Steve Mason, a member of North Yorkshire Council and campaigner with Frack Free United, said this morning:

“The decision to postpone is very sensible. The conflict between national and local policy makes it impossible for Cllrs to make a sound decision.

“The definition needs to be clarified to capture all types of fracking and close the loopholes that allow gaming of the planning system.

“History provides the evidence: if you are shattering rock under communities to extract fossil fuels, it’s fracking, no matter how much fluid you pump into the ground.”

Do you all realise the implications this could have for West Newton an Wressle which both use proppant squeezes ?

To me this is the final nail in the coffin no different to Finch an taxes on oilers.

A retired geologist has warned North Yorkshire councillors they risk embarrassment or even legal action over the handling of a planning application for gas drilling at Burniston near Scarborough.

Total US production revenues to date $850k, Costs- wells drilled to date $4,777,222.Not included Diana, XRoads and Wolverine as that activity hasn't yet happened, and we don't know if those potential costs quoted as $2.77mm in total have been paid upfront, or even if they are legal obligations which they must pay.

In the UK, Union Jack Oil hold 40% of the production at its impressive Wressle site along with 55% of the production at the recently upgraded Keddington site. In the USA, the company enjoys gas production from our two Andrews wells being sold into the grid along with solid oil production from the Moccasin well. Our royalties are also returning a pleasing revenue percentage. With other assets to be furthered in 2026, our aim is to build on this success to increase shareholder value.

See the pattern 'again' ?!

Yeah, no urgency to impress shareholders.

I mean the share price was only 11p exactly this time last year.
