RE: A turning point at last ?16 Feb 2023 14:34
Stu,
Lets agree to disagree on the timing - we both agree that its important, but providing things are delivered within a reasonable cadence of a company's target. Vlad did NOT particularly want to give guidance - but he was good enough to provide the guidance given the interest from investors.
I am not sure what you do for a living. I work in a big, successful commercial organisation. I can assure you that timelines do move, usually with a very credible reason.
I do agree, as an investor, I want to see Hemogenyx remain focused on delivering the CAR-T plan. IND, clinical trials and hopefully, partnership model. I would be lying if it had not crossed my mind that CBR and the placing may create a distraction.
However, I thought the CBR update was well written and demonstrated both genuine potential and genuine progress. CBR has been in the wings for a few years now, it's not quite the new kid on the block. This update was much very much on the cards and part of the Hemo plan to progress.
Ultimately I will trust Vlad and the team. I am confident and content that their goals are aligned to mine. I also believe they are genuinely excited about CBR. As for it being snapped up by big Pharma - (1) we do not know what conversations are happening behind the scenes and (2) it's still early days and Vlad has talked about the need to further prove the concept t realise its value.
