On the telegram group one of the guys has had a response to an email from Brent Fitzpatrick.
As you would expect not much he can say but did say the directors are disappointed with the SP. Interestingly though states investors are taking a short term view about the portfolio. Also reads to me anyway the commercial discussions on AZD1656 are ongoing.
Maybe taking a loss for some now will prove to be a poor decision.

There's an appetite of sorts at this level. When the bid dropped into the 5's yesterday it was only there for 15 mins tops. Today however pretty much all day.
Look at 90% of stocks which have had a big rerate, there was always a real low just before, as pathetic as it sounds that's what I'm clinging too!

I've emailed VELA to share my thoughts of disappointment on the SP.
Not that I think it'll do anything but maybe a collective effort may get the directors to pull their finger out.

Can't understand why there would be large investment into ADZ1656 for the primary function of benefits for diabetes patients & COVID for it to then take years to bring to the market.
The general feeling when waiting for phase II results would be this would go at 100mph.
Really curious to know what the next significant RNS from Igraine or Cizzle states with regards to ADZ1656.

Cizzle RNS is options exercisable at 10p / 127% premium of current SP. Further positive trial info to come or is it more to do with their blood test for lung cancer?

When could the next update be expected, two months now. Peer review then what ?

It'll all have to come out at some point - Igraine accounts / relisting, what the £2+ million is for, AZD, there's the Aeristech IPO etc etc.

I'm staying in fully until the deal info is presented. It'll be the detail in that which will determine how much I retain for the long haul. If it's recurring income or several million into Vela's coffers I'd be keen to see what JN can do with it.
There will be selling at all levels as there always is but I think a number of people will want to see 0.12-0.15 area before selling in significance.
The one thing that does irk me other than non existent comms is I would like to have seen a director buy in, that alone would lift us well away from this d 0g **** level.
