Yes we're heavily weighted to the trial being lucrative but the RNS tells me we're going up from here. It's a completely different business from August last year yet we're at rock bottom SP.
Hopefully we nail 0.15 in October.

Noodleman I agree somewhat in that the floor has been reached.
Worth remembering we operated higher than this with significantly less cash, loss making not profit making and without a positive phase 2 ARCADIA trial.
Where I disagree is for real upswing this shouldn't be a 2 year play but that all depends on what each individual is looking for.
Wonder if JN wants those 0.15 October warrants converted, if so a run of news and investor confidence needs to come ASAP.

I've just read back the RNS from September 9th and still can't decide if we're in for the long haul here or not.
Referencing Sir Chris Evans video where he states that 'big pharma' loves it when he brings them a successful phase 2 trial but at the same time the RNS alludes to more fund raising for a 3rd trial.
Is the tail wagging the dog and who's driving this? Is it SGS or Excalibur ?

This is where the frustration all ties in. Had we held above 0.12 then lack of comms would be more palatable but when you throw in a bid of sub 0.07 this morning, no comms and all other investments pretty much under water it's more difficult.

The next ARCADI related RNS is beyond crucial. Needs to have commercial info, if it's just a straight we go to phase 3 and no intimation of what we're getting well it'll go down like kipper yoghurt !

Anything specific you're hoping to see from the accounts Big Dave?
Just seen that a 26 million sell has went through this morning, still hanging above .070 just.
Really hoping we're going to get some communication ASAP, it's needed.

All - yes the current SP isn't where we want it BUT in the near term it's irrelevant until we know what our take is from commercial deal. HOLD as you gain nothing by selling now.

To save them some time Mystery recently posted that ARB is a ponzi scam and that Peter Wall (CEO) is a fraud...he now posts extremely positively on that stock.
With Vela he stated he would be delighted to just break even and run for the hills. In the earlier part of this month he was actually in the lovely position of being able to close out his alleged position at profit....result!
No he's kept allegedly a small position for this 'binary play' but the SP will drift lower according to his latest post.

Agreed that the communication is falling short of expectations.
I will however be seeing this through to the conclusion of the Arcadia investment then take another view. I can handle being invested, it never taking off and me losing some cash. I cannot however handle being in Vela over a year walking away now to see some mammoth commercial deal come through and an SP of .30-.50+

Possibly BigDave, I’m actually interested in all of Vela’s portfolio bar Northcoders and Mode. The latter was exciting but I’m struggling to see their direction now with changes around their business model.
Ultimately though whilst Vela do have cash now to deploy I’m assuming it’s being sat on for other reasons, trial?
We really really need to get some positive info on next steps with Arcadia. This imminent commercial deal is not feeling very erm…imminent.

Seems the media outlets are gathering some momentum on ARCADIA, hopefully it generates more people taking substantial positions with VELA.
Secondly there's no reason we should be dipping any lower than where we've found ourselves - warrants dealt with, SGS shares placed and twitter traders gone. Have some courage of conviction as to why you bought in here and hold.

No panicking from me but just a teeny bit deflated that holding for over a year and someone can buy today at the same money.
I hope this is the pullback before a substantial rerate and not a sell off due to no news coming for a while yet. SP seems determined to dip into the 0.06's again : - (

Not the right day to gauge things when the market is a sea of red however CIZ up a couple of percent and nice run of comms from their bod.
