Looking at the gov site on CE marking it says “ By placing the CE marking on a product a manufacturer is declaring, on his sole responsibility, conformity with all of the legal requirements to achieve CE marking. ”

Could AFC do this for someone else’s product they plug into, or would they want to ensure whatever they plug into is CE marked?

The best way as I would see it is for the AFC unit to have a ‘hydrogen in’ port and an ‘electricity out’ port. It would be then totally decoupled from the hydrogen feed (be that from cracked ammonia, dirty/pure hydrogen) and where the electricity is destined for (batteries, grid etc). It can then be certified separately and swapped in and out as required.

Interesting that you say no one is holding the stock long term - how can you justify that statement?

He doesn’t always get it right, although I have had some pretty good vegan burgers recently I have to confess... A beef burger stall where forests have been decimated for livestock wouldn’t look good I suppose!

I sometimes feel Hamilton is just trying to win a popularity contest with what he does but you can’t complain about the favour he may be doing us on this occasion.

Let’s hope we can catch some of that media wake... I’m almost pleased we may have another 3 months to prepare given the exposure this is getting.

Hi Red - I agree with you but as you say it is for AFC to spin this. My comment was in relation to the interview earlier which wasn’t with AFC.

Sadly self-promotion does not appear to be a priority for the AFC BOD which I hope doesn’t hurt us in the long run. It is quite astounding really, arrogant even.

AFC is but one of many contributors to the Extreme E series - we can’t be expected to mentioned every time there is an interview. If they were then all the others would want the same.

Isn’t Hamilton involves with the plant based food provider too?

I was really hoping for deals relating to car parking but with Covid killing the high street and quietening down the roads, at least for a long period, any such plans have been put on hold.

There is still the home delivery fleets though which have seen an upturn.

Still - it’s not like we’ve invested a lot in it in advertising.
