It sounds like EV with EE will open up more opportunities with diesel genset replacement - if that’s all it achieves then I’m happy with that.

It was a bit of a joke but I was thinking about how Acciona could put our cell to use here. So yes agree the turbine would send electricity down a wire towards the grid but at one point were they not wasting the renewable surplus when not needed? If so they could redirect from the grid to an AFC battery to generate hydrogen instead (if I understand the suggested battery application mentioned many RNSs ago)? If so the question would be where that hydrogen would be stored and go. May be barking up the wrong tree here though!

Thanks ItsallBull - Acciona are a very exciting company and I can’t wait for next year and our trials with them. I wonder if they can fit an electrolysis unit and AFC fuel cell in that tower too?

I’m not happy about the unicorn juice bit - we’ve not even found one of these mystical animals yet and we’re already looking at ways to exploit it.

The EV charger is a fuel cell and batteries with the cars being charged from the batteries, not fuel cell direct. Perhaps the question should be how big are the batteries, not the fuel cell?

I invested in 2015 and it was going to be a £1 by Christmas then, and every year since. Good chance of it next year I think and if the pre-season testing goes well then I’d expect it to do well late Dec. At least EE will be vocal about progress so we’ll get sight of AFCs performance through that.

And quite cross again by the looks of it. Hopefully AB will see the post and spring into action.

I wonder Athansius whether there is plenty of news flow going on - just not to us. I know if I agreed to put a large chunk in as an II for a fundraise I’d be asking for at least a monthly call to update me on progress. It doesn’t need to be price sensitive to be useful after all.

I previously suggested that a PHE unit could perform cremations and generate hydrogen - perhaps AFC could power the electricity needs of the crematorium and we could get this partnership back on the road.

I’d prefer we went big first!
