Scancell founder says the company is ready to commercialise novel medicines to counteract cancer. Watch the video here.
When I bought in here many years ago GDL, GDG and spin off Greka Engineering seemed to have a bright future, developing ground breaking technology (so we though ), massive gas reserves and a CEO that could talk the talk.
It's been a long winding and difficult road following these three companies through the ups and downs (mainly downs).
I've been through a divorce, lost some good friends along this journey and dropped out of touch with others as well as loosing a small fortune.
One thing I have learned is never to trust what you here at an AGM, never trust someone with supposed inside knowledge as at the end of the day some people out there are only looking after number 1.
Valuable life lesson for me, stick to what you know and who you can trust, but my accountant gives me a slither of hope as my capital loss on these can be offset against any future capital gain. Good luck to everyone who has taken a hit large or small on these three companies and I will in future will only be investing in what I have at least some control of and not trusting a guy like Randeep. Take care and enjoy life, we're not here long, cheers
Full year results 27th, GLA hope this pushes up on news although I've been out from some time now.
Good thanks! Hope all is good with you, this probs looks like the best one out of the group at the moment as expect good results for 2015. Cheers...GLA and DYOR......
Buy looks like someone is in the know or just very confident...
Thanks immy I will see if I can find them.
Bit of a disaster as got delayed on my way to AGM, anyone meeting up afterwards?
From what I here its all about Essar not paying there bills !!!!! No point drilling if your not getting payed, be interesting if this is confirmed ( probs off the record ) at the AGM, look forward to seeing some of you guys there., cheers...GLA ....DYOR.....
At this price, do I sit on the sidelines until the AGM and possibly miss the chance of lowering my average? Sorry rhetorical question but not the only one thinking it I'm sure.... Thanks for the email Skooby, I should know some more end of next week. GLA DYOR.....
Your right been in hibernation sorting out my FDR but glad I sold my stake back at the end of April for high £5s. This has got to be a great buy with EOY bring much increased production as well as any compensation due from its new "partners"/rogue drillers looking like it could be added before or close to EOY. Think it must be time to jump back in...just need RNS on GDL Lifabric wells and could be a very nice double earner.... ...DYOR....GLA...
Is lower than the asset value of the business, when GEL was spun out of GDG they had $36m of assets approx £20 m since then they have won a contract with a new customer and as there RNS states they have a customer base of over 100 different companies. With any new RNS confirming contracts with GDG and others this has got to a great investment...IMO ..GLA
I think GDG are hoping to conclude the audit before Easter, fingers crossed the mm's close the spread soon so we can all jump in...
I think we will get an update here when the audit is finished on the 1500 wells for GDG as well as the remainder of the 150 contract for GDL (10 already announced and being drilled ). With all the positive news that we've just had from GDG as well as the contract for all the infrastructure that GEL are bound to get from the 150 well program and the Gas they will be selling from these wells (18bcft pa ) this and GDL have got dble at least just as GDG have done....IMO.... So much plus side here as well as GDG 's other blocks that they are now looking to open up with $100m of outside investment from the Chinese to drill new wells (got to be Lifabric from GDL ), more infrastructure and gas for GEL to earn money from this could be where GDL is now in terms of sp in just a few months if not weeks.....just need the spread to close and it will take I think...DYOR GLA...
And on the way up here as with the Audit due in shortly you could miss out.... DYOR
Yes sorry no posts for a few days, just sitting waiting for news. So much upside here as soon as the audit is complete, mid April RG has suggested, we will see cash flowing in the direction of GDL and GEL in the way of 140 wells and connections to the pipeline for GEL. The first 100 wells have been audited at $21 m gain for GDG, I think that's for 1 year of production so depending on how long these wells have been drilled and if the rest of the wells perform in a similar way GDG we could be looking at $300 m pa income with the prospect of upgrading to Lifabric to increase the production of the 1500 wells. Can't see a downside here, only the court case but as that's a small percentage compared to the revenue from these wells and compensation could be factored in, to be out of this for much longer would be risky as one RNS this could rise significantly....the same goes for GDL and GEL as news here will be closely followed be news for these too. GLA
GDG have 70 plus wells already and converting there vertical wells to Lifabric as gas production is greatly increased by doing so. GSs08 a well drilled in 2008 has been producing gas at a steady rate for 5+ years at an IRR of around 75% pa, which is 1.25m dollars pa in gas revenue (well cost $1.5m to drill). Life of the well is expected to be 15/17 years which will give a return of around $20 m profit over the life of the well. By the end of the year GDG will have over 220 LiFaBric wells all producing the same gas production giving them $225m profit pa for the next 15 years as well as the revenue from the rogue (free) 1500 wells. Early indicators from the audit suggest this will be just over 200m pa giving a total revenue of $425m pa. This also shows how much more effective LiFaBric is over conventional drilling producing between 6 to 7 times more gas per well with a longer production life, see GDG media for details. There is a fantastic opportunity to buy in at such a cheap sp, once the audit is complete everyone will see what a fantastic share this is along with GDL who will surely mop up large drilling contracts as the business model has been tested and works so much more effectively than conventional drilling....GLA
That was £5.8m GDG shares bought on the 6th Feb, like you say RH this is on the way up more big money going in.....
WOW, that makes these look so cheap as they are expecting to hit that production target this year.....£20 a share that's 6x where we are now. No wonder so much big money is going into these, must be the best potential on aim by far ....GLA
I Know RG has 66% and looking thought the previous RNS I think it's about 12% so not many considering the amount traded recently, as soon as they announce a deal on the compensation/gas revenue from the 1250 CNPC wells this will fly. Does anyone have an idea of the company value when GDG hit there 18bcft annual production as this could easily happen this year with 1500 extra wells of gas coming on stream....
Chinese with a bit of an idea of settlement.....
But does anyone think CNPC might be buying GDG shares......
