Share price is going up accordingly ? It was 40p a few months and is down 5% today.
Small up and downs aren’t really a real judge of a share price to be fair, take a look at the 6 month, 1 year and 2 year chart.

In terms of the bids I can only really see 1 bidder going for each...

Fosun - Tour Ops
Lufthansa - Condor ops, but they want this for the slots and could just end up using them for Lufthansa long haul ops
Virgin - Branson may put a silly offer in for long haul uk, although I am not sure why TC don’t just keep this part
Hi Fly - sMaybe short haul UK, they are trying to get funding for a bid. A lender will be very cautious so the bid will be low

There isn’t a bidding war, there won’t be a bidding war. There may be a few interested parties who would be prepared to take parts of the business at a rock bottom price.

When will people realise that the bids are already priced in. This will hover around 15-20% for a while now as nothing much will happen.

What are the rampers saying today ? Over the weekend it was 30p yesterday, double bagging this week and some firmly believed 50p by Friday.

Tank - where did I say the offer has to be accepted ? I was saying the bids will be much lower than people are expecting. The offer doesn’t have to be accepted, but the bidders know they hold the cards here.

Machengo - I said that Thomas Cook customers are leaving in droves, I said the airline would be gone in 18 months. I had it as a strong sell from 40p. I predicted this being the next big one to bite the dust. When the crap bids come in and unfortunately the share holders are the losers, sadly I am correct.
Not sure where I have got this wrong ?

How is the strong TCG buy going since 40p ?

I am not a shorter.
I think this board needs a bit of balance. I am heavily involved in aviation and have predicted this since November. I have been stung before with shares due to people either ramping or having blind faith.
Look at the absolute rubbish put on here by the likes of Bluelight, bkkkk, Cas Tiger etc, it’s embarrassing and cringeworthy. The share price is exactly where it should be knowing there are interested parties. Saying that this was going to bag and double bag on this news in nonsense and hopefully people don’t get suckered in.
For every ‘deramper’ which I am not, just an independent realist, there are ten times the amount of Rampers.
These ‘rampers’, which I don’t actually think makes a difference to the share price, have been saying this is a great buy from all levels, in reality it has little value left at these levels.......and it’s all the shorters fault ? Maybe it’s the debt, maybe it’s the way the company is run, maybe it’s the bookings are down, maybe it’s brexit etc etc..but it’s not shorters and people need to get real as there could be lots of money lost here

The highest price in the last 12 months doesn’t apply guys. Fosun are only going to be able to buy part of the airline. The share price is for everything, the tour operator, the Nordic airline, condor, uk airline, long haul etc.
This dream that it’s gojng to be 80p and this share will end up at £1 is pure fantasy.
The fact that bids are in is priced into the current share price. 15-20p is where people this should be, said this for a while now,

Those saying that they will have to pay the highest price over the last 12 months....it’s simply wrong. Fosun are not allowed to buy the airline business so they would only buy part of the airline. This means there is no minimum price to pay as it’s not a takeover, they would purchase part of it.
If this happens it’s a sad day for TC employees as it is the end of TC. No tour operator as we know it, airline sold off for peanuts and pilots/cabin crew/ground staff/sales etc etc all lose their jobs.
The only thing left to happen would be for the shareholders to suffer the same fate

It’s probably the same person with a new name looking at the grammar and construction of the sentences. The old tiger probably realised he lost all credibility by saying this was a strong buy since 40p and dtg was a strong sell since £7.

Why would it multi bag ?
The bids are known about and they are already priced in. When it becomes apparent how much the bidders are willing to pay it could head quickly south.

Let’s be honest, he didn’t make himself a millionaire and I doubt he’s got a million shares. If he’s been invested for so long he’s most likely well down thinking it was going to be worth £10 a share

So you have got a million plus shares at an average of 21p, your invested in a risky company that has a lot of debt and problems, you are over 15% down and you seem happy ??
From your posts it’s clear you are deluded when it comes to this share and your blind faith is really worrying. I hope you don’t lose your money and it works out but just can’t see it.

Most holders on here have been saying this is strong buy since it was 80p, it’s now below 18p. It’s the holders here who are sadly the losers.

The current value of this at the minute is between 15-20p. The current bids for part of the airline are now priced in and once it becomes apparent how appalling the bids are, it will retrace back down towards 10p

TC currently has an awful reputation amongst customers. It gets voted just about the worst airline in Europe, it’s the reason that TC have lost so many customers.

Watching this, think a fair value is 15p, but seeing everyone constantly talking about shorters and this will be 20p end of the day....then Cavendish did the ‘wouldn’t want to be out of this over the weekend’.

It’s embarrasing, get some sense of reality and see this share for what it is, not a multi bagger over night as people have been suggesting since it was 40p

The most likely outcome is a bid for part of the airline that won’t be anywhere near what’s its worth, maybe a bid for condor, maybe a bid for the long haul side which will be next to nothing. The uk airline will stay unsold and the only thing left value would be slots, and the only buyers would be competitors such as Jet2, Tui, Easy and Ryanair
