RE: Should I give up?9 Jul 2019 11:12
Toon - I have been saying this is going south for a while now (40p) and I think medium term it will be even more of a bloodbath for shareholders as the bids will be nowhere near the amount some are expecting. Don’t listen to the people who say this will be £1 as it’s complete fantasy.
There is something significant this week that could help you. Dart(Jet2) announce their year end results on Thursday. They will post very good profits once again but the thing to look for will be forward and late bookings since the year end cut off date. If this is looking very good and they have significantly increased due to poor weather, people ignoring brexit etc, then you can say it should be the same for TCG when they release results and news next Thursday. You may get a share increase price to 15p, maybe a max of 20p but at least it may give you a reasonable price to get out if you so wish.
At that point, if you are a believer that there is a bidding war and the bids will be high, you hold. If you don’t then you sell at not too much of a loss.
