I tell you a little story happened to me when I bought Ferrexpo shares at 26 p and saw It climbing to 66 p so I decided to sell half and keep the rest to get a good profit and saw the share climbing to 176 p so I sold the lot and made a great profit but then the Ferrexpo share continued to climb to 320 p ! So you can imagine my feeling then but after thinking about it I was not really wrong but sensible to take the good profit as it could have gone the other way too and would have been a disaster. So do not feel empty or regretful as it is always difficult to time the buy and sell any share and the market can be very ruthless. I have been in this game well over 25 years and still learning and making mistakes but less often. As you said there is always another share opportunity to buy. GL

I would not trust the buy and sell figures you notice on ordinary sites as it is done by a computer guessing and can be very wrong. Many times when you buy or sell ...they appear the other way round. Over all it is better to ignore them as the errors can confuse.

JL...G has no problem of getting funds to fund their unrealised assets including Gas. Their current and Quick ratio 4.07 Which is nearly four folds stronger than BP. G has no liduidity issues at all. Geopolitical issues are getting better once a new government is formed hopefully not pro iranians. The kingmaker AlSadre is good for krg and G to prosper.

I agree with JL comments ... Incentive schemes of GKP continue to inflate fat-cat salaries to extraordinary heights. Do they truly reflect performance? This is my concerns and if not then it is like dipping their hands in my bank account! What does this tell me about the company that is managed by such greedy lots. I am of course a shareholder and this issue does not sit comfortably with me .

Muqtada Al Sadre is well known in Iraq and has his own militias but he is in alliance with the communists party and this bodes well with krg. He is Anti Iran and not friendly with usa either. His campaign was based on anti corruption which the current and past governments were associated with. He is a nationalist and will not allow fragmentation of Iraq. I think he will be better with the kurds than Abadi who is weak and part of the AlDawa party very much pro Iran. They have three months limit to form a national government and all three main parties will have to agree to form a government but it is far from certain and will all unfold in the coming months. In all scenarios G will have a clearer strategy and can progress once a stable government is formed unless it is taken over by abig company or even merges with another. So far I cannot see a clear strategy and for me is a rather fuzzy one but because of the political situation in play. Bright future for G in any case once the dusts settle down and a new government put in power. Mugtada Alsadre is better for us and the krg.

There is no doubt that G is undervalued by a big margin and the problem imo is the strategic vision is cloudy and as a result Sp suffers from fuzzy management strategies. In addition to geopolitical risks To be accounted for. For the sp to move up rapidly we need both of these factors to be rectified some how to avoid value trap. The progressive growth / clear management strategy of the company like BP is a good example here and that is why its market valued higher than its assets value. Investors and market always prefer this than undervalued shares. I believe G will achieve a clearer strategy path once the political dusts settles down and then the sp will fly. It is worth to be patient for a little while to unfold this huge potentials of G.
