I do not trust MB ...if he is genuinely concerned about Aca BOD then why cannot he talk with them directly without undermining them in public as he did recently and then pretended he was concerned about the shareholders.......
Well imv he is doing this to undermine the value of Aca and weaken the resolve of Aca BOD and shareholders to sell us in the cheap and gobble what he can the flourishing Aca assets on the cheap.
I think as someone said here ,we only have the big institutional interests and the Aca BOD to get the best value for Aca.
The market can read MB intentions clearly and reflecting it in the current sp.
He is a great manipulator!

Hi vaux...I understand your valuation but I took into accounts a few current sp of other gold, precious metal mines like fres,hoc and barrick itself and all their share prices in the current market conditions are low to their valuation so in the real world we are now very vulnerable with Aca takeover offers to around my valuation or there about ,but I do not think an offer of £5 is realistic now. Whoever put an offer ...want a lowest price possible and in comparison with other precious metal mines market sp in the current market.
This is why MB is desperate to make a takeover bid now in a hurry for the lowest bargain price possible and I admire the stand of Aca BOD.
Of course I will be more than delighted to get more than £2.70 and towards your figures but feel this dream has passed.
Imo if Aca could continue and manage to resolve its problem with the GOT then I believe the sp will travel towards the £5 easily but I am not convinced and I think the GOT and MB already agreed on the ploy of letting Aca be swallowed by Barrick on the cheap and to give the GOT the get out of jail card ( money and punishing Aca) then shafting the shareholders .
our only hope now is Aca directors to get the maximum price for Aca. It is all a dirty play and there is no way out but allowing Barrick to acquire Aca back.

The current book value is 2.07 and add to this 30% premium in a takeover situation so maybe £2.70 is a possible fair value.

MB is playing up ACA to snap it as cheap as possible but it seems ACA is determined not to be outmanoeuvred them.
Hence the reasons for the massive gold production increase announced today to expose him and tell the stakeholders that all is well and in a better shape. I think ACA in the driving seat now and has a few tricks under its sleeve. International Arbitration is a winning threat to GOT and Barrick to pay a higher price or telling Barrick be fair and pay what is worth. If MB forces his way ,he will be discredited and will tarnish his reputation in the industry he built a great name for himself.
As far as reward/risk ...it is very favourable imv now.
We don’t have to wait long now to hear about resolving ACA conundrum!

DOW and OP are recovering well from their earlier losses....the market is sensing something positive in usa,china trade deal.

If confirmed then a big rebound tomorrow...mainly in oil price depending companies like pmo,enq ,tlw then the rest like G,GKP.
The more oil you produce the higher rebound tomorrow.
If no deal then the opposite is true too.

Well....today nearly gone in a volatile trading ....tomorrow we hope to be far better.
Emotional upset but nothing changed in reality if you hold.
In fact I am very positive now with op resistance at this level of going lower...

Imv MB is probably playing GOT tune by attempting to portray ACA as a mismanaged company in decline and let the shareholders get demoralised and then accept and take over price.....well I think today statement and op update rebuffed him nicely to prove the opposite.
I will add more as I now more than certain this current sp is significantly undervalued the ACA and to me GOT will reach a deal fairly soon and better than what we expected.
Maybe I am too positive but things are beginning to unfold and ACA management is not giving up but fighting back very well.

Genel Energy
A Tawke update this morning from the operator which is continuing to deliver the goods in no uncertain manner. 1Q average production from Tawke and Peshkabir was 126,759 bopd and currently Tawke is producing 73/- and Peshkabir 54/- bopd. The area has an active drilling programme with 4 Peshkabir wells and up to 14 Tawke wells expected this year.

At Peshkabir P-9 went on production in Q1 whilst P-10 spudded in February and is expected onstream soon. P-11 is expected to spud later this month and will maintain the excellent record, Peshkabir has generated $1bn in gross revenue which is four times the spend to date. At Tawke the T-52 well was completed and went on production during the quarter, the T-54 well which spudded in February came onstream in April and the T-55 spudded in April. All is going very well for Genel at the moment and the stock looks significantly undervalued compared to rapidly increasing revenues and a substantial drilling campaign.

Looks ominous and more unsettling for oil supplies..
We may see some op recovery by tomorrow but definitely will if someone can handcuff Trumpy!

Op down ....mm loving it but I say trade deal with China has to be done and uncle Trumpy tweets are red herrings to convince the voters that China buckled under his strong stand...then op will jump up again.
It is all a big theatre play...watch the space!
