I did this with fxpo before but could have done much much better if I didn’t sell then..
But as long as you came out with profit then it is a successful strategy..
No one can time the SP or market movement accurately ..
Then still many opportunities abound with current seemingly cheap market in many sectors..

Genl has huge cash reserve to stand the oil price shocks for long while yet even if it produces at loss at the mean time but I agree with whithat last post too.
No complete shut down just can’t happen in Kurdistan now ,as per jim posts totally agree too.

Oil price at its lowest now but most oilers recovered most of its earlier losses and a few in positive territory....well obviously the market is thinking differently and more optimistic than many here..
Just thinking what will be the rebound like in these oilers when oil price crisis gets sorted..
It seems a vaccine on the horizon now too for the Coronavirus too..
So the gloomy predictions of SP at,70 or 50 or 40 p disappeared all together ....Ha

All oil shares are rising today except Genl..eh....
the whole sector components are down and responding to op crisis which must be resolved soon..
The lower the oil price goes temporarily the better the rebound for the oil price ..
MBS plans is to destroy shale excess unlimited productivity and he is succeeding, and Stop Russia cheats.
It is not Genl specific..it’s the oil price and whole sector have been trashed.

Dow was up 12.9% last week
Ftse was up around 6.3%
Friday 28/3 was probably profit taking so not leaving it over the weekend with a-lot of uncertainty
Hopefully blue tomorrow to catch up ...and more opportunities to buy cheap for bargains in different sectors too...

Oil price ..I feel more positive than negative an agreement or a solution will be found soon in the interest of all main big producers...and continuing oil price war would not serve Trump ambitions or the USA foreign policy.

Krg payments interruptions and delays an issue but an overwhelmingly exaggerated . The krg seems at fault here but really if you talk to investors relation of G..it is far more into this than blaming the krg only..but a new way of payments to safeguard future payments of is of more importance to investors to see G gets paid regularly and orderly with certainty. This oil revenue is crucial to the survival of Kurdistan and the credibility of krg to do business with...

My main issue is for G to seal an agreement on expanding in Gas fields that will add enormous value to G..and to guarantee future payments in some sort of different process in agreement with krg..
Patience is required in all this turmoils..
I survived 1987 very well and now doing what I did then and hopefully will have another success in this strategy..
