Pmo is now stronger than before so I am holding strong ...
Shorters are abound now in panic state and are trying to cut their losses but cannot bear the pains...

Are you shorting oil shares that had risen in big margins recently as you posted the same link at Genel, PMO and TLW....intriguing!!

This article has been done on no opec meeting or supplies cut...so really it is less relevant unless the opec++ fails to reach a deal which I don’t think is going to happen.
Two things currently are relevant...the size of the supplies cut and the USA participation..
15mb cut will see oil price around the $40 Brent and once Coronavirus turmoils eases ,the oil price will go up further on the short term but on med-long term oil price is going up and it has to..

But if the supplies cut 10mb then it might just hold the further decline on short term but again when Coronavirus eases..it will go up..
Tomorrow morning oil price will give us further clue.

But to sell G and buy Gkp is something I wouldn’t do at present...
Genl management and rich diversity of assets are much better than Gkp..imo
My buy of Gkp as it was oversold and overdone but not interested in keeping it as LTH

Not so with gkp....don’t agree
Gkp ( I am a holder and bought in recently)...has stopped its drilling campaign and all workers at the drilling site left Erbil last month..But productivity is static 38 k per day .so no near future prospects of growth ,then dividends uncertainty then EPS is down....it has value but no momentum or quality at present..
27.4% of shares are held by hedge funds too in comparison to 32% of PIs...
I bought in the hope of reversal soon and it will ,but would have made more in recent time frame by adding more to my G but my G holding is a lorry loads now and pleased with G recent star performance.....also I diversified into many other oilers which made more than G but just got lucky in timing of my investment...

Me and Hawkey are in discussion to put an offer.....lol

Yes....from its “near low” luckily and was going to add more recently but dithered .it is my priority now to rotate more into it and maybe jog. .
RRE results today were reflecting a well run company ,with a big dividends makes it the star of all small cap oilers...just imo

As I have 90% in oilers companies...RDS is not on the list because of the increased debts recently to keep paying dividends...Genl has performed from its low recently far superior to RDS by more than 40% and paying dividends from big margins of profits....
RDS will have more difficult times a head....
The problem with charting both on the same page is your starting point of comparison which can be misleading......just imo

The alternative does not exist...
Deal is a forgone conclusion but the size of the supplies cuts is the issue which either stabilise the oil market or push it much higher....
Temporary Volatility until the announcement is also expected..

I agree with oil price volatility but as said before the only way is up and $40 on the nearer horizon than many thinks...
The market does only look at the future ,hence the oilers are rallying today in spite of a temporary dip in oil price...though trashed oilers are not equals but some out there are really bashed unjustifiably with others..
One also needs to look outside in other sectors and see so many lucrative buys but slowly and not all in one go...as Coronavirus virus is still circulating around in the world..
For now the main issue in Coronavirus lockdown forcing low oil demands and this week agreement on cutdown supplies is a forgone conclusion as the alternative does not exist anymore!

Current sp representative more or less the cash in the bank so all valuable assets and future revenues /profits for nothing!!.....very cheap and manipulated...
I doubt they can hold sp down for very long...
