Not just gamers , most folks just get on with life, recession cuts spending in different ways , many things carry on ... vets, health, life, new babies, death.. food and comfort luxuries even for poorer folk can become stronger. .. pensioners store sugar and aldi teabags ind their pantry... just in case ;-).. advertising sells produce to users if marketing is properly researched and executed .

One other key point I learned in the lady recession biggy
I went self employed as a jobbing business in 2002. Plumbing, kitchen fitting, tiling and decorating (grew up doing it all with my dad) anyhow had a brilliant customer base.. but the second the telly said there was a recession the pensioners stop spending on anything but food.. %70 of my work dried up.. I diversified
Point is, my younger customers carried on spending.. even in this town.. make of that wot u will.
Right, the other thing I learnt in crisis management and public relations is if you keep saying somethings gunna happen it will..
So that's me done on the dark stuff. ..lol

Swervey, this is quite typical behaviour of the market makers on aim in my experience..

But I do think for me this a perfect place to be if a storm comes, the news flow and potential revenue in this market is massive and virtually untapped

Not sure, if mean stock market downturn proof ..then prob no. Are we in a business that could suffer in a recession if ones happens then probs nothing like as much as a mature sector... truth is no ones knows till these things occur.. Merkels people seem very confident in the rest of year strategy. Trump and the Chinese will will do all possible to solve their issues when it gets too uncomfortable..
Really, rely honestly no flucker can call this , but I do think if it hits the fan it will be much later in the year..
I've been getting doom and gloom emails for two years telling me what to do with my money... lol... pays her money takes her chance..

We've been watching intraday trading. Sell early morning, buy back mid afternoon.. probs the some folks day in day out. Looking like it ain't working today.. all imho.
An occasional unchtime rns would be fun..
