Admittedly things have moved on since his interview on the 12th February but he stated the following: He did not expect the share price to move significantly until they were in profit. Secondly he hoped to sell out completely before the end of the year and that he would not be greedy but accept double or treble the current value. He never mentioned the multiples people are talking about and I am sure despite recent news he will stick to his intentions.

Double or triple my investment will suit me.

Try selling them on exchange at the current bid price rather than use quote price. I sold on IG using that method.

The article at the end did say “We are buyers not sellers”

Looks as though sentiment is changing and may not fall any further today.

Difficult to know when It’s worth buying especially as the directors aren’t taking advantage of the weakened price. Does not show much confidence on their part so I will wait until there are better signals.

Today’s RNS refers to Investec and not Invesco

There is still the Link sale of Woodford holding to come probably in January. Unfortunately no longer looking like a good investment.

Simon Thompson is recommending selling out because of fund raising at 40% discount to share price and small investors excluded.

I don’t think the new shares are available on the market as yet. Unless I am mistaken I thought the new issue at 25p had to be approved by the board.

I found the info in Marketscreener.com. There isn’t any in formation on Mercias own web page but it is odd that Forward Venture Trust have managed to acquire such a large holding without any RNS.

Latest figures show Invesco with 19.5% Forward Venture Trust 11.2% and Link 11% but I am sure that this will be out of date very soon with the volume being traded daily.

Short term support is 28p Mid term 23.1 and long term 24p

Resistance in the short term is bullish at 35p medium term and long term neutral at 38.5.

However this share is very volatile and could swing either way until news of Link disposal effect has diminished

Short term resistance of 30.5 gone and next stage is Long term of 31.5.

Possible share price will be diluted on 29th October when 60 million new shares are admitted to the market.

Why has the Cornerstone offer not materialised? Is this the reason the share price is being manipulated lower ( just look at the level 2 orders blocking any move north) to give Cornerstone holders the idea that when the offer of 45p, or thereabouts they are getting a bargain.
