No changes to them Chas. The same shares remain in your ISA account. They are not new shares, they are the same ones, It's just the opwnership of the company is now a private company. Like your optimism about Capital Gains!

So we delisted today as expected by many. Now we have to see how the BOD are going to communicate with the shareholders. They have to at least once a year from now on. I expect any RNS will say the finance man has jumped ship. Carrillion: take note BOD, they all sacked themseves.

You are welcome on the discussion group. IF you want to act solo, then so be it. However, nothing like strength in numbers, and if you are close or in London you would be ideal candidate to see them on our behalf with and other one or maybe two group members. To all, please remeber that if the group meets, the shareholder list will need to be proved, by copies of broker holding belonging to yuorselves, to weedle out any non shareholders, nosey people and the odd false email address as is the case right now.

Nominee account should still report having the same number of shares, but I'm not 100% on that one. Anyway, niominees are not our problem, they are the problem of the fund keeper on our behalf.

Inciteful posts. Thought provoking too. We know nothing of the mine history/politics/country corruptions etc. so all is still guessework as to what went on. They do all seem 'all friends together' to me. Let's be brave and positive even if it is ahrd o do for some investor. Those last investments are due back immediately I remember. Hundreds of K hanging over the BOD that signed them. Should be good for focus.

It's in hand. I suggest it is open to ALL shareholders incl. BOD right now. They are shareholders too. They may ignore, they may not. If ALO goes boobs up, then it goes to closed system. Simples.

From other experiencs noted here, I see a trend towards RTO's. They copld be genuine, but several have suggested delay after delay. I was wondering if this was not just a new tactic to discourage shareholder groups and white noghts calling EGMs and replacing the BOD en masse. That is working elsewhere, but if RTO is announced, otherwise impatient PI's have tended to let it go until it is too late. You know, whoops, we just could not do it in time, so we went bust instead. A contact tells me we should wait and see the outcome of the RTO, giving them benefit of doubt. The shareholder group should organise straight away, whatever. I have registered alectoshareholder(dot)co(dot)uk for very few quid. If you want that to host I can do that too for a year and set up a forum/email address for shareholders. It will take a few minutes after hosting propagates the net. If you want someone else to host, that's no problem. If you don't want it at all, that's no problem either. There is no cost to anyone. Just let me know.

Good idea, whatever the outcome. Oversee fair play even if it is curtains. Already in one, that has 'rescued' from the brink a company, but I can't say anything as it is also private co. right now. Count me in. Can someone repost that shareholder list again?
