I think "growth" , left town after the last budgets and now it's heading into retirement.

Be ludicrous to hike rates just when so many are struggling to pay bills currently. The current crisis in the gulf is already constraining spending without any stupid rate rises, as is the burden placed on Industry ,commerce and the jobs market by the last two budgets.

Pointless when inflationary pressures are caused by world events not increased spending and borrowing but I'd not put anything past Bailey. We would be better served by Bill Bailey.
