exxon are conducting a 3D seismic at the adjucent block 59, looks like they offered the guyanese to continue the seismic to block c for free.

looks like exxon/total are super bullish on the dip water play similar to kaieteur and canje:

Natural Resources Minister, Vickram Bharrat said one particular company has its eyes on Block C, a concession which stretches 2.3 million acres (9600 Km2). The company is willing to do a 3D seismic study on the block at no cost to Guyana which Mr. Bharrat said would provide extremely valuable data to the new oil producing nation.

“But this is another discussion the government would probably start next year on how we would deal with it,” he told OilNOW. “We have already indicated to the interested company that the government wants this to be an open process, and this principle will go for how we deal with the relinquishment for other blocks too.”

Mr. Bharrat continued, “So there is a lot of interest in Block C. They want it. You can tell that they know something…But they aren’t the only ones…There are several reputable companies, major oil companies around the world which signaled interest in Block C which is in deepwater and close to Suriname.”

i think news will come in 4-6 months and the rerate will take us to 8p~, still a great entry price, but i rather wait to see where the omicron will take the markets, could be some great near term opportunities.

who cares, we are waiting for results from fangtouth, venus-1, update from canje in regard to the coming campaign and targets, all in the near term and orinduik update can land any time next year.
one discovery in canje out of potentially 3 wells in 2022 and update from orinduik and we have a 4 bagger.

The best way to move forward, dont know why the market reaction is negative at this point.
They stated they'll use it for canada, so serenity is still the big bonus.

"Eco Atlantic, the hottest best place in the world to look for hydrocarbons is Guyana. And they've got a nice position in Guyana and they will be drilling wells there. I think [indiscernible] slightly as an Eco direct for that. We're hopeful that there's a well drilled there next year, we've got some very good looking prospects, There's a block right next door called Kanuku that was looking to do well on as well. So, we did drill some wells in the Canje Block unfortunately, we did find oil, but we didn't find good reservoir for that oil.

So, I think we've got a lot of, we still think Guyana has got a lot of growth. So, that's a focus of Eco. Eco is also in Namibia, and of course, Namibia with the Orange Basin, we've got two very highly prolific wells about to come up there. So, not only our Venus well, that Shell is drilling a well called the [indiscernible] well, that's actually on two different play types than what we're doing. We have a very good acreage position, we kind of take our whole portfolio companies together Africa Oil has a Block 3B, 4B Africa impact of course has two good blocks, right in the heart of that trend. And Eco has blocks in Namibia, just to the north of that. So, I think you'll see that that area heat up if one of those two wells is successful."

You are right in regard to the time line, but both total and exxon were bullish about sapote and bonboni which were independant from bulletwood and jabillo and probably had many follow up targets.

Kaieteur- update by march, drill by december.
Canje- reading between the lines from discussions with the bod, after 3 dusters they will need to re analize their targets, that will take time.
Is sapote would deliver then they could drill Q1 for sure.

Youll have enough time to buy, i believe news of the next well can take up to 6 months

the farm out deal represents a 30m$ value to thali, thats a 1.1p valuation on completion.
with no debt that should be the sp for starters.
that price doesnt include any value from the sa and namibian assets.
in sa total just entered another 3 blocks adjucent to 11b/12b and once negotiations with the sa government will conclude we can expect the continuance of the exploration campaign.
in namibia the venus-1 well is about to spud next week, its a 60 days well that could ignite a gold rush and a re rate for some of the small caps in both namibian offshore basins, trp included.
a lot to play for in all fronts..

Exploration

· In the emerging basins of Guyana and Argentina the focus remains on unlocking value from the substantial prospective resource base whilst seeking to reduce the Group's capital exposure.

· In Guyana, the Kanuku JV Partners plan to drill the Beebei-Potaro commitment well in mid-2022, targeting in excess of 200 mmbbls gross mean unrisked prospective resources across two targets.

Indeed a step out well with results that could impact the next canje target with total as operator.

the fact they didnt submit a work program in orinduik for 2022 is no news.
tlw has already updated on the conference call: "There is a process under way right now looking at potentially farming down a stake in Kanuku. We have not done anything on Orinduik yet."
"We are not planning to drill in Orinduik next year".
we have namibia and the two short term wells operated by shell and total that can create value, and the canje exposure that should commence Q1 or Q2 as exxon needs to re analyze their next targets after 3 dusters.
in any case the campaign has to conclude by march 2025 when they need to relinquish 20% of the block.
the fangtooth-1 well might be another catalyst if it will hit oil.
