The njonji deal is expensive, for 30m$ you can pay the gross cost of gazania-1 and take 25% of the 300m boe prospective resources with a discovery of light oil on the same structure in what is turning to be the worlds new hot spot.

Gudin, i emailed the company after the jhi latest transaction to congratulate and asked if that was the deal they implyed about in the prior rns and was told this transaction is just the begining.
I suspect the next transaction could involve africa energy but thats just a guess, a swap would be great for eco.
Its all about consolidating to better manage risks and funds, the assets are prime assets.

The azinem deal is a steal, but maby azinem knows its the first step for eco in a bigger consolidation strategy, eco for sure is working on further transactions!

No doubt block 2b is a possible farm out, with 75% of well cost on eco.
The jhi idea is a good one and would be an amazing deal but its the only guyana related transaction by my view.
I hope they will farm out for a carry.

the cameroon deal is obviously a failure, i give it a 1:10 chance of beluga coming up with the funds.
graff-1, nice long term affect, a different basin though.
thali- they cant farm out for years now even when poo was high before the covid, dont believe every thing you read, its not a sure thing, if it was that good it would be farmed out long ago.
south africa- a long way to create value.
the only catalyst here can be venus-1 and dont expect more then a short hype if its good.

For now the next short term catalyst might be around the corner and thats venus-1, a 3 billion boe p50, a monster, reported to be a 60 days well now on day 71...
The next 18 months are non stop catalysts for eco, planning on enjoying the all ride..
