I’m love how Wong and TopUp believe that if they repeat the mantra ‘blockchain, blockchain, blockchain’ over and over again it will convince others that this share is decent investment. It has got NO PRODUCT, it will develop NO PRODUCT. It has been used as a vehicle by shyster Clem to raise £1M on a spoof product. Mugs!

Clumpet - I think we should ask IG for commission based on the amount of times we’ve told people to open an account with them! :-)

Peaky - I believe there are a number of factors. 1.) the fact that it’s an exchange of NWF shares rather than a cash offer. 2.) the belief that it’s difficult to trade ASX shares in the UK (it’s already been established that it really isn’t) 3.) Traders/rainbow chasers have gone on to other shares in the interim and will return the closer we get to the settlement date. All my STEL shares are nestled in my IG account and IMHO, sitting on my hands to net a minimum of a 50% return from these levels is more than bearable! However, the choice is yours. GLA

In the meantime, I’m more than happy to keep hoovering up STEL shares for less than 6p!:-)

NWF didn’t drop on the results of the update either, so current holders don’t see it as an issue!

That’s as per the timetable, though nominee account holders (i.e. HL, etc) might have to wait longer. If you work to the long stop date 31st May, then you won’t be disappointed!

I think people also overlooked that NWF have their AGM tomorrow (11th) so a funding update might be provided then. As soon as funding is confirmed, I can see the STEL sp rerating IMO, esp as time is running out to trade this via HL, etc GLA

Offer price is a minimum of 9.77pps and is calculated on the NWF SP being at full dilution. (i.e. approx 17.29cents, currently 24.5cents) So yes, wait 5-6 weeks for your 50% or stay in for the ride and let NWF take the mine into production for potentially higher gains. The choice is yours

Yes, HSBC have been appointed by HL to sell any NWF shares on behalf of HL Clients. Not sure where you got 13pps from, though I’d be happy with that!

Though to answer your question, there isn’t a cash alternative to the offer - you’ll be getting NWF shares at the equivalent of 9.77p for every STEL share you own. 50% return at these levels to wait six weeks is ok in my mind

It’s the selling value. Good to see HL making these arrangements for their clients though. Additionally, should you not wish to use HL’s arrangement via HSBC, as stated before, you can transfer your shares to another UK broker who trade ASX shares.

TopUp - are you being serious? You obviously don’t know just how much juice data mining needs. For instance, you may have read that a few months back Kodak diversified into data mining, mainly based upon the fact that they have their own power generating plant on site.

That’s why the majority of data mining hubs are located in places like Iceland (where costs to keep hardware cool is tiny) or sunny climates (where solar generated energy is abundant). Meanwhile, BMD keeps banging on about locating OBC’s alleged data mining outfit in “north London”, which has none of the advantages of the locations mentioned above and therefore costs would be ridiculously high.
