Not sure that is correct. Area of IOW is 380.7 million m/2. If you stand 5 people per m/2 which is pretty tight the total would be 1.9 billion people. Current world population is 8 billion. To fit them all onto the IOW they would need to stand 21 per m/2. Impossible.

I have never signed up for DRIP, I always take the cash and then buy at a latter date, i think you can almost always get them cheaper this way.

Therein lies the problem.....Labour are not a credible alternative either and MUST NOT be trusted, so who do disillusioned voters vote for? Conservatives have 2 years to pull a rabbit out of the top hat but to say they have their work cut out is an understatement. The biggest threat to the Tories getting re-elected in 2 years is not from Labour, it is from the Tories themselves. It seems the divisions within the Conservative party are worse now than ever they were when we were still in the EU and there are reports that there will be rebellion from within over the Budget. They need to sort this out now.

If they cannot answer the question without knowing the numbers in detail, then using the same argument as you have put forward, they should not be criticising the measures taken in the Budget without knowing the numbers in detail.

LONDON, Nov 17 (Reuters) - Britain set out more plans on Thursday to help make it the world's most competitive financial centre by easing capital rules for insurers, trimming a tax rate for banks, and promising to review all financial rules from the European Union.

Leaving the EU allows Britain to write its own financial rules and its parliament is already approving a law to help its financial services and markets keep pace with other international hubs including New York, Singapore and Paris.

You cannot make an analogy between rise in SP of Lloyds and rise in SP of HARL. Different companies, different sectors, different business models etc, etc. The SP rise in HARL was attributable to news of lucrative contract awards being placed by the Government with the shipyard.
