And two months on - we still don't know. This is getting ridiculous.

I do wish they would have larger placements less frequently. They are such a hassle, and I don't think it reflects well on their long term planning.

That's right SRT runs SRT - I think that was one of the motivations of the name change from Software Radio.

I agree the company is very open with shareholders: possibly the best shareholder involvement I've ever come across - whenever I have had a query, I'll email the website & usually Simon replies personally in a matter of minutes. I think maybe part of the reason for this is there is a very heavy shareholder base among the employees & ex-employees (which is why we often see price moves & volumes moving before RNSs. Bit naughty , but hard to prevent it.
I will try to get to the AGM again this year.

Historically, if Simon has a problem it is in being over optimistic, so in some ways it's nice to see a more cynical view. I think it's important to watch the webcast on Friday. They usually give far more detail than the official RNSs.

Of course one problem with last year's results is one of timing. Project payments are large but are well spread, so the timing of invoices either side of a period end can make a big difference the the figures.

The potential is still huge. It would just be nice to see a bit more of it getting realised.

Not really, though I hope it has levelled out a bit this week. All the news from the company has been positive - there are difficulties but they are finding ways round them. A few months ago they were around double the current price, and all we've really had is good news since then, and Idi think their recent purchase should be viewed as a positive. The current PE is around 10 which is low for a growth company, like this. There could be concerns about China locking down, and most of their manufacturing is done there.

And the purchase, I believe moves them into a new high growth market with EV charging points. Around where I live the council has installed EV hanging points mounted on lamp posts. Luceco already are in the market for external lights, so I see synergies.

I really hate Primary Bid offers. No doubt they are good for the company issuing shares - a cheap, low hassle, quick way to get money.

They always say they value retail investors, but of course that doesn't necessarily mean existing private shareholders. You can't have them in your ISA. And many people will hold a high yielding share like TRIG in their ISA. If you want to use money in your brokers accounts, you have the hassles of moving money from broker to bank account & then paying by card. They are only available via mobile ap. Why they can't do it on their website is beyond me. Mobiles with small screens and small keypads is just asking for mistakes inputting figures.

I would love all shareholder to write to the company asking them never to use PB again (unless they change their rules to make applications available via brokers.) Also write to Primary Bid to suggest offers are available via their website and preference should be given to existing shareholders.

In High Wycombe they are trialling electric scooters - a friend who is on the county council tells me there is a high use of them used as get away vehicles after muggings!

Anyone know why the price dipped at the end of the day? Can't see any news.

I've seen a few people attribute the slide from £10+ down to inflation fears. If inflation does take off, and interest rates rise, Ceres have so much cash on deposit they'd be making a fortune from the invested interest.

I've never known a takeover take so long to sort out. I don't think I've missed any updates - hard to tell when there are so many RNSs about shareholdings

The reorganisation into 5 divisions seems sensible enough. A bit of reducing head count to - always needed as these mega companies. With this following the strategy update suggests to me, that divisions are being separated to enable easier sales.

I did actually write to the company to request an update. They replied admirably quickly to say everything was still on track & there would be an update IN January.

The business is performing well & my guess is we'll see they've had a good Christmas. Overall a lot of "safe" shares have plummeted this week (e.g. Halma, Diageo) for no obvious reason. So Pets are in good company. The share price had probably got ahead of the fundamental value, but the future still looks fairly rosy, so I expect good results and probably a recovery in sp at that time.

Only today? It's been big drops every day this week. markets seem crazy this week - some shares keep dropping for no obvious reason (like Halma & Diageo) and some keep rising for no real reason.

Just remember markets can stay irrational loner than we can stay solvent!

nuri: "High multiples of earnings." It's loss making so PE is negative. If you go on that ratio, you'd expect the share price to be negative. it's a growing business - so you have to look at future earnings to work out what sort of share price is cheap or expensive. And it could be one of the biggest growth sectors in the world over the next 10 years. And within the sector it's very well placed. The truth is no one really knows what the earnings will be in 5 years time. If you believe in the Hydrogen story ITM is as good an investment as any to take advantage of it. Exactly when it begins to make positive profits and how quickly they grow is guess work.

How about a bumper Christmas?

I think we're long overdue for an update on what is happening re the takeover - is it going ahead smoothly? If not what is blocking it? If the UK Gov't are investigating it I thin the company should at least officially tell us.

If anyone has any hard facts It'd be good to hear.
