Any of these could act as a major catalyst against this gold backdrop.

If, and I fully acknowledge it’s by no means a certainty, THX has ticked along as expected by mid year - that means released the DFS, got the full backing of federal government, launched their inaugural dividend, released full year results and Q1 - and gold is still at this level then a rerate to 50p is inevitable.

So basically steady as she goes and we see big returns here.

I think it’s reasonable to think the deal was agreed this week (Thursday) with it now in the hands of the lawyers, and with official news landing early next week.

Yeah debt-laden loss makers, not debt-free cash cows.

Well yeah the numbers get even sillier above $3000/oz but was more about showing that gold could fall 30% and we’d still be seeing close to $100m net profit per year.

I don’t see any rampers on here. I associate that with mindless comments like ‘get in now before it’s too late!’ ‘Cheapies gone soon!’ or the tedious ‘£1 shares going for 20p!’

When you say ‘risks’ I assume you mainly mean jurisdiction risk, Africa risk, rather than the nonsense being posted by the new posters such as ‘placing incoming!’, ‘this company will end up bankrupt’ etc

I don’t see how the positive comments with real life metrics and facts are comparable to the utter drivel posted by the newbies on here (who admit to just getting their own back on a poster from another bb).

For those interested in the net profit per year for the next few years at different gold price:

At $2000/oz gold THX generates ~$95 net profit per year

At $2400/oz gold THX generates ~ $135m net profit

At $2800/oz (current price) THX generates ~ $170m net profit per year.

This from a starting position of zero debt and ~$20m cash.

As I’ve pointed out a few times the NET margin is now higher than the price of gold at times over the past year - that’s simply unheard of. The net margin is bordering on $2000/oz. And with it all crystallising to profit for these years with no tax to pay.

The set up here couldn’t be better, it’s just a matter of patience and waiting for the news that turns heads then FOMO will kick in.

There won’t be many sellers when liquidity spikes and that creates the conditions for massive share price moves.

It works both ways. No run up in share price means that a deal isn’t being heavily priced in.

If they get it over the line on time this flies, if it’s extended with positive commentary and possibly even improved terms SP should rise (after initial volatility) and if it falls through, well, it falls back.

I’m still confident that by end of February they’ll have been a deal plus a plan released to get into early production at Blue Mountain.

Don’t bother, nobody is going to listen to them when it’s not even close to being true or accurate. Just post like normal and ignore the nonsense.

You can write the same thing a hundred times to try to convince but your main claim is simply made up… there is absolutely no evidence that placing shares (and hence HNW individuals / institutions ) are dumping.

There have been just over 200m shares traded over the past five sessions with the share price a smidgen up, from 31.5p to a close today of 32p. That tells us very little.

My guess is some are selling on the hope of an extension to the deal and a slightly lower buy in price afterwards. Each to their own… I’m comfortable either way and believe strongly the share price will be above the one year high soon.

Majority of salary in shares and an option package that incentivises them to get the share price to above the 1p level in order to execute them all.

Ps, no fan of the winks and nods either but it is what it is, it doesn’t have any reflection on Nick and the actual work being done by management.

Whatever the outcome of this week your ‘theory’ is illogical, that this all a smokescreen for placing holders to finally sell those shares at a loss. Nonsensical.

Deal will either be done by Friday (your ignoring the fact that discussions and progress have been ongoing for months, Nick hasn’t just rocked up in Melbourne and gone ‘right let’s progress the HoT now’ ) but if it gets extended a few weeks, on better terms, I won’t complain.

Gold less than a percent off all time high too. Does make you think there might be some renegotiation going on… in ECRs favour.

It’s actually hilarious how quickly people panic.

Nick spoke positively re the deal going through in Jan just a few days ago. He has spent the majority of the time since on a plane / I assume acclimatising after a day or more’s travel.

Today was I imagine his first day of doing any work and because the share price hasn’t soared suddenly ‘it looks like an extension???’

If there’s a leak it will happen minutes or hours before news is released, not days. For now nothing has changed.

From the tone of your messaging I don't think for a second you believe any of that, it reads more like someone trying to convince others to think that way so that the share price doesn't rise and you're not left upset that you are not the one making gains.

Anyway the directors make decent money if and only if they get the share price high enough to execute their options, that realistically is 1p+.

With all the cash and with the work already put in the lithium is essentially a ‘free shot’, a free shot just as sentiment is starting to slowly pick up again in the space.

Always good to have some left field potential to catch the market out - good news on that front could lead to a spin off in the future.

But yeah the core business is gold and it’ll be what brings in the $$$ hundreds of millions for years to come.

I recently got in touch with Segun regarding the lithium and he just got back to me with a very positive reply.

Safe to say it’s still very much part of their plans going forward.
