Short term much will depend on 24th March ... if financial markets are still very jittery and earnings etc are poor again he could turn out to be correct as reaction to poor short results will spook the market ... I was optimistic a while ago that news of the JV would have dropped by now but in reality think we are still some way away. My view is Ceres could be a fantastic ISA buy in early April if the share price did drop more ... win win I think long term., Cheers

We've had some great gains here over last month and the banking crisis and surge in Bitcoin price could make this a quite incredible opportunity when the next RNS lands with positive news on developments ?

With the current financial uncertainty which IMO will get worse from here now HE1 bizarrely looks like a safe haven at the mo ... where do people think the bank crisis will go from here ? Cheers

It would be incredible if it did go to 300p as what a massive buying opportunity ... but sadly unlikely me thinks

Exactly ... all that matter re cash now is they have enough for August drill ... sure fire certainty that SP will rise a fair bit once rig is confirmed in April time ... the real risk will come as they get closer to spud ... to cash in or to hold for results ... that is the question.

IMO we're back in bargain buy territory now ... time to get the hoover out.

Normally I would have sold all my shares I bought recently @ 5.4 p when we got to 6.9p ... a 27% profit is always just too good not to bank but I didn't bother this time ... just have a gut feeling we have found our new level here fluctuating in mid to high 6s until news comes in early April time. Yes exactly ... lots of the talk about China relationships are largely misleading ... plenty of business still gets done as just so important for both China and the West. Ceres have some fantastic medium and long term projects and not just in China ... the trial with Shell in India could also be very lucrative in future years. And that last statement is the main issue with share price here ... so much investment (rightly so) going into large scale future projects as that's the business model we're all invested in ... short term the financials suffer and share prices usually mainly go on short term. Personally my tactic is to hold for medium/long term growth and aggressively buy more if the share price suffers in the meantime ... I stocked to heavily when we were in low 300s ... enjoy the ride. What a great day again ... I was thinking this would only get to the 12p mark on rig being mobilised but think it could get there just on contract being announced which has to be sometime in next 4 weeks I think. Cheers ears

Yes exactly ... blimey I'm so glad I'm invested in Ceres ... short term gains will be good when JV is finally signed but over the next 3 to 5 years I can see this being one of my best ever investments. Cheers

And large part of that demand will come from China ... could be worth Ceres doing a JV deal with a Chinese company ?! ha ha

Hi Dai, sorry didn't answer your last question ... no I'm back in UK now ... I don't remotely work in the mining industry ... I'm out in Tanzania each year for wildebeest calving season and hence incredible time for big cats ... so no idea about the rigs you mentioned ! ... I have the odd (very odd ?!) side bets on HE1 as it's been a great opportunity to make money ... not day trading but short term trading on swings ... normally I'd sell a chunk now as 20% in 5 days is a great return but I'm going to hold on to all my shares in HE1 now as they will def announce a rig contract sometime over the next few weeks and could be sooner .... once that is announced this could easily go back over 8p I think which would then be 50% profit since recent lows ... hope your day is wonderful. Def lots happening at last now ... all feels much more positive with new CEO and change of energy ... sharing rig with Noble great news whether we go first or second ... up 15% in last 5 days is fantastic ... within the next 4 weeks there will be an announcement about rig contract as that will fit in with schedule to get all ready and in place for Q3 drill.

Well that's his job ... just because no updates for a while some people assume not much is happening but in a company like Ceres lots and lots is happening on a number of different fronts ... exiting times.

Yes def only a matter of time now ... it's in all parties interest to get JV signed ... just bureaucracy and procedures of doing business in China that takes time but this month will bring news I think. Cheers
