Or if you bought lots about 5p you could have just sold them all about 10p but even 8p a decent profit, keep your other stake and go on holiday courtesy of HE1 for a few months and see what happens to that bit. 🌊🌊🌞🌞🍺

Totally agree with you. My next target buy in price was 3.5 but am thinking of waiting a bit longer now. Do you think it could slip back to the 2.5 level ?

Hi well I'm of course totally guessing like all of us. But huge numbers of people have been derisking and will continue to do so on increases on positive news. Ive alresdy de risked now and will keep the rest in right through to results.

The reality is that the chance of both making a commercial discovery is quite low but if that did happen then yes it would be mad not to share production costs. Im glad most people now understand this wont reach anywhere near highs of '21 (unless a discovery of course). It's a cliche but so apt here ... dont gamble more than you are totally happy to lose if it does all go Pete Tong.

Last week was a reality hit for the few people talking about 20p plus pre spud. But yes an exciting few weeks ahead now. Even after raise I still think we could be up to 12p during the drill so its a great time to buy now again IMO

Ive thought it odd that rig crew arent finalised yet. Maybe reason is that they're still negotiating a bigger contract with them based on future drills for HE1 but also for when they lease the drill to other companies. Imagine if HE1 had this offer presented to them over last 2 years ie a rig with crew all mobilsed to go anywhere in East Africa

Well done Wyn this is so spot on. I see it time and again when people get carried away thinking something is a sure fire 100% or more no risk certainty. We should all know there is no such thing. Also never believe what the board tells you about any company.

Bit late for an email to them and you won't get a reply anyway. Hopefully lesson learnt from their awful presentation which purely sowed the seeds of how long until the raise. Incredibly naive as if they'd simply not done the presentation then SP would be above 10p now after photos of rig being assembled and then they could have done the raise next week at 7p. Now it's priced into the current SP and will have to be below 7p.

Whenever I see comments like 'market makers working the crowd' it makes me smile.

I find it a bit puzzling why they issued the last RNS and then did the presentation when there was no actual news that we didnt already know. If it was an attempt to drive the SP up so they could prepare for the raise that would be pretty naiave. The sell off since then has mostly been triggered by them saying that they will raise which we all knew anyway as we know how much cash they had and can guestimate costs since then quite well.
