My personal views on what has occured today1 Jul 2020 16:36
For those who don't know me, I am a long time follower of Kier - circa 2 years now - that is just for context on why I may take the stance I take in the following paragraph.
Today's RNS was I would say, everything we were hoping for. A news title that followed seems to have completely misrepresented what was said in the RNS by titling itself "Kier ponders cash raising as COVID-19 hits revenues" - I would say this title makes it sound like the company is in dire shape, hence some of the hysteria we are seeing here today. If people opened that article that then goes to quote the RNS, you'd notice it doesn't even slightly hint at any kind of aggressive "cash raising" that the title would have us believe...
Now is the last chance for those would haven't invested yet to get onboard the train. We are going places.
For those of us long-time investors, a time to bring down our weighted average price.
Also as a side note, when reading posts here, it is important to know who you can trust, because many names I've seen today I've never ever seen before, and I update myself here every single day of the week.
Sage is I would say one the most trustworthy names to listen to, and I'm not saying that because he is very clearly 'pro-buy' but because he has been here for months, posting his thoughts on circumstance updates regarding the company and his personal views, every step of the way.
If you see a new name spouting some nonsense about 'now is the time to sell' 'this is the end of Kier' '60p time!' (I'm paraphrasing), then they are simply fearmongers who have barely done their own research.
I don't want to delve into why this is a good trading update, as many many others have already done so.
I end by saying, I may be 20 years old, I may not have the recorded experience many of you reading have.
But an investment in this company is a no-brainer.
Thank you for reading.
