Today the award of the last five lots of the Framework Agreement for the acquisition of various health products and protection material against COVID-19 was published on the Public Sector Procurement Platform

The lots awarded are 5 (nitrile gloves), 6 (protective glasses), 7 (surgical masks), 8 (FFP2 protective masks) and 9 (FFP3 protective masks)
Of these five lots, 102 products offered by 43 companies have been awarded. In the Framework Agreement as a whole, a total of 166 products from 72 companies have been awarded

The objective of the Government with this Framework Agreement has been to select suppliers and products to face COVID-19, and set the conditions to which these supplies must comply. In this way, the administrations attached to the Agreement will not have to tender each acquisition, but simply sign the supply contracts with the winning companies. The products include gowns, gloves, goggles, masks, COVID-19 molecular tests, and extraction kits.

The evaluation process has been very complex, mainly due to the large number of information that has had to be analyzed and managed: companies and products have undergone a complete evaluation to guarantee compliance with the required technical, economic and administrative requirements. . To carry out the process with all the guarantees for the participants, it has been necessary to review, contrast and request clarifications on thousands of documents presented by the different participating companies.
Experts appointed by the Autonomous Communities, by the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products (AEMPS), by the Carlos III Health Institute and by the National Center for Means of Pro
