I have also been caught out by the SP data on google finance over time.
Pros; theoretically it is live data, but I only now use it as a guide to SP movement.
Cons; not 100% accurate. Some shares I follow have a regular +10% or -15% each day, but the actual price never moves, and as happened yesterday, the real SP was in fact higher...pleasant surprise!

LB; Supposition. 2 possibly new(?) SEDOL coded have been spotted; BJMXTW4 & BJMXV06, Bou ordinary and Bou excess A. Tried dummy buys, got a prompt to phone my dealing desk. But ordinary and excess could mean a placing offer? Just a collective thought by several on here, nothing on BOU www.

I have just tried dummy buys for BJMXTW4 & BJMXV06 and both returned a prompt to ring up the dealing desk, so there might be something afoot, and the begging bowl might be coming round. The other code for lapsed might refer to our existing holdings, which might tie in with a consolidation to new shares plus an offer/invite for more new shares which link to the new SEDOL codes above? Just my musings of course. I also checked on BOU web but nothing new on there.

I did wonder if it was a possible cash raise looming?
New as in say a % of existing holding, and New excess for the chance to buy over your allocation. There will be some who will say it would just be to keep the lights on and pay the rent, others as the chance to complete a purchase. Might try to click on one later todayto see if a buy offer is possible. Might be something brewing, might not be..until they announce we will not know.

BJMXTW4 & BJMXV06 are listed on Jarvis, but not on my portfolio as a pending action or offer, so maybe just a coincidence? Nothing on BOUs website either. Earth70000; Everyone has a limit, if you invested what you dared to risk and not go over you are wise, a small profit is better than a small loss.
Some will have done very well from buying in very early, and being brave or a massive risk taker at that time, or just speculating. Some will have these vast sums of shares no doubt, some might just say they have to make others jealous?
