If this carries on much longer they are going to lose more members. I did also look at ADVFN before joining LSE, but liked the layout on LSE less busy on the screen, just appeared better. I have liked the forums on LSE, especially this one, but if the chat keeps crashing during market hours I might have to have a rethink. After double taking the low 600s SP just after 12, I did half expect to see a stampede of buying later on if I got the chance to check in, which I did not. Glad to see it back above 700, but those that brought in last week must be wondering what on earth has happened. As other have said, hopefully in a day or so, some sort of normality will be restored.

Wow! So there I was going about my day, SP moving +/- a bit, but nothing exciting, drove to work, approx 45 mins later, checked in on Google as more live than LSE, and can see all portfolio, I had to do a double take! Wow, wow, wow...What happened? Checked on here, chat down...most inconvenient again..checked the movers, pharma's nosedived, travel and airlines launching...Ah, possibly news on a vaccine? Checked on aunty Beeb, yup, great news, but still a bit premature as not yet fully proven/trialled, yet pharma's have the rug pulled. I would have expected a bit of a move, but not the levels we have seen, all the covid stock still have a big part to play..oh well back to the day job. Good luck all, and hope the bewilderment of today goes away soon.

Sharehunter; Agree, but quite simply, our LSE folk need to sort these issues out, otherwise more will leave. It will be a shame, but if the IT systems keep crashing what are we meant to do? No point in having jungle drums to keep us informed if we have no stick.
