Well it appears to me they have three choices.

1.raise now.

2. Roll the dice and hope they can get oil out of dubhe which would mean no reason to raise.

3. If it transpires that dubhe is a duster, raise then. But giving good news on progress on kodiak to hopefully make the sp bounce back after news of dubhe being a duster.

My feeling is that they will go with 2 and then move to option 3 if it fails.

They specifically said there was no need to raise yet and the previous raise was done with a view of the flow testing taking longer than expected. What do you think gas changed since. Nothing. There would be no point in saying this if they thought otherwise.

Would it be fair to say that whilst I agree, we don’t want to be overly optimistic, there should be more confidence about the CEOL this time around having already been refused before. They would know the reasons for refusal and have hopefully addressed these in the lastest submission.

I very pro this company however, I would be prepared to wait more than a few months for decent returns. If dubhe1 fails, the sp will go down however, I do feel it willl recover in time. Obviously if dubhe is successful, then you will get some decent returns in a few months.

I thought megrez produced no hydrocarbons which is why Dubhe1 is more promising.

Yes lord I feel very lucky to come in at this time. Don’t get me wrong, there are many where I find myself in your shoes.

From what I can gather from the webinar it is the environmental strategy is what is going to a take a long period of time however as others have said, there are many milestones leading to production which will hopefully push the sp up.

It seemed to me on the webinar that they were very confident in the CEOL however, I understand people’s skepticism based on history.

Can anyone give me a brief lowdown on this company?

Do people think this is a good entry price. I notice in the last month it has gone up 55%. Is there still plenty of upside.

I think that what is going on in Venezuela will initially affect the market however, long term I don’t think so. You have to remember Venezuela have old infrastructure that has gone years without investment due to economic sanctions. This would need significantly upgrading which takes time and money. Not to mention, no major oil player is going to invest in a country with instability. They would need a stable government before even considering investing. Whilst on the face of it 300 billion barrels of Venezuela oil sounds promising very long term. In the short term Alaskian oil is a less risky play.

What’s the deal with this company?? Worth taking the gamble? I’m in on pantheon but looking for other investments.

It’s clear these guys are still recruiting as they are moving into development and production. They aren’t just hoping dubhe will flow. They are still planning for the future no matter what the result.

I assume that pantheon is now out of their closed period or at least close to coming out of it. It will be interesting to see if we get any inside buying at this low sp

You make some good points WindInWillows however, I do think that they will go back and continue to flow test dubhe. If they were expecting oil by 50% and didn’t get it, you wouldn’t just stop at 50. You would push it even more knowing it is a different we’ll.. I think that they need time to consider options and this break gives them this time and is more cost effective. I personally think that they will go will a submersible pump when they restart.

Had they got to 70-80%, i would have said that there is a chance that they might not start again but at 50%. Nah. They will start it up again. With a plan on how to get this oil out.
