Unfortunately pb, there is always buying prior to a decent RNS but with Prem when that RNS lands there is always a sell off on the news. Just look at the history.

I still struggle to clear it in my mind as to why there would be a mini sell off on this news, bearing in mind which I have no doubt that we will be a lot higher than this in a couple of months time SP wise. Everything seems to be going to plan, yet people still sell?

Is it possible that results are slow coming out as Sozhou don't want other interested parties knowing too much too soon?

I cant keep track with this SP at the moment, one minute it is way up, then way down. It seems to be even more volatile than when in AIM!!

Persiantrader, as you are no doubt aware, hedging is not an easy thing to get right, and I'm sure at the time they were happy with the deal to get Tullow through turbulent times. How were they to know Russia would invade Ukraine and the oil price would surge like it has, that it why it is called 'hedging your bets' it is a gamble. I'm sure Tullow aren't the only ones ruing their decision possibly, and there will be many others in the future.

Excellently put, there seems to be a lot of whining going on from some of the regulars here, which does surprise me, as I think this is a good deal. It gives me a lot of confidence when an expert comes on board with 12M cash, bearing in mind they have to match any other offers that may come around, and they have someone on the BOD's who I am sure wont just sign off GR to go and spend this money wherever he likes. I am much more confident of where we are going to be fair, and of course in time the new low should now be 0.4 as per the placing shares. GLA, we will get there soon.

Yeah, and look at the result, down 13%.
They can ramp or deramp as much as they like, other market forces out there in the wider world are what effect the SP, not some twitter group
