Woundlick, your right..... I look forward to the 3 well programme starting because only that will bring back the air and excitement (SP rise!) we're looking for here, we are an energy exploration company and it'll be great to get back to what we should be doing..... then its a question of (LTH's) timing any exit. Keepto, its good to see profit taking hasn't occurred yet, its a clear sign that rightly so positive sentiment is returning to Sound (hope i haven't spoken too soon). Its all to play for in this new environment and Sound is in the right place at the right time so it seems. GLA
For the first time in years i feel happy hitting the 'Strong Buy' button.... JoeC it does make long-term sense to underpin the transition fuel of gas with solar, even if the profit is modest, if its underpinning our ability to explore for gas again (without having to dilute shares to raise funds) it gets my vote and Sound do have access to huge areas of morocco.... Exciting times again :) GLA
Agreed this is excellent news, i am still confused over the whole Angus distraction and can't help thinking it was move to hold the SP back for a while?? Nonetheless Graham is making the right moves in the important areas imho and i am beginning to trust him which is saying alot after JP!
Derby, me too I am out about the same as you from the Parsons era.... My gut instinct is if the Angus distraction is dropped and progress keeps going through to first gas then a 13p SP is possible in medium term for a spike in SP above that then if a series of drills for new wells were announced there would be peaks in SP whuch could get interezting again..... Tthats if Sound are stull an exploration company????
Sundance, I have to agree, hopefully 1.75p is a baseline SP. I feel the news today is a good indicator of positive progress (at long last!). Other than actually seeing gas out of the ground and revenue this is a good RNS.
WoundL, i can't argue with your logic, i do feel in the Angus sideshow (distraction) were put to an end and Siund focussed on getting gas out of the ground the base SP would rise and stabilise at a much better level..... the current price is particularly low and painful to see. I won't be selling as yet as a LTH but hoping some of the positives you mentioned aid a price recovery soon. GLA
