Always thought for a large holder it'd be easy to sell into a low volume time, such as summer, to drag the sp down then buy back when you have succeeded in doing so. Good way to add value to your holding if you'd a few million shares?

At its joint-owned Juanicipio mine, construction is on track for operations to begin by the fourth quarter of 2021. Further, production will also be increased when operations at the recently-completed Pyrites Flotation Plant at the Fresnillo mine in Zacatecas begin.

The FTSE 100-listed precious metals miner noted that its new "state-of-the-art" tunnel boring machine, designed with the manufacturer specifically for its Fresnillo mine, has successfully started operating.

"Our exploration teams continue to identify and develop potential projects for our pipeline, including at Rodeo, which we expect to become our next open pit gold mine," it added.

Gold production in the quarter to June 30 of 100,228 ounces, slipping 4.0% from 104,047 ounces in the first quarter. On a yearly basis, gold production in the first quarter fell 23% from 130,994 ounces.

Cash costs came in at USD883 per ounce produced, up 41% year-on-year from USD625 and rising 20% from USD733 in the first quarter.

Revenue fell to USD177.5 million from USD189.9 million in the first quarter, and sunk 22% year-on-year from USD226.6 million.

So no not such great reading. But digging itself out of a hole at Sukari so to speak. If ever there was a time for pog to climb back over 1900 it would be helpful if it comes soon.

Covid-19 worries and the Fed's stance on inflation being temporary, indeed more worries with deflation in 2022 onwards would offer long term PM price support imho. Not to mention increased sabre rattling with China and Russia. Surely these low PM miners sp's at present are a great entry level? DYOH of course.
