RE: 5 Minute Test Anyone?14 Oct 2020 11:44
For SNG, the majority of people already knew the results were going to be positive before the SNG001 announcement ,but I think most were shocked with the 600% rise. Although you can't compare the two in terms of what they specialize in, they do have a similar share price and market capital characteristics.
There are many questions that need to be answered on Friday for BRH holders and hope we will get them. We can however compare our situation to other "diagnostic"companies:
- Sona Nanotech have a 5-15min test and sensitivity of 84.6% and a specificity of 90.0% . Market cap $500m. $50 a test.
- Avacta POC "pregnancy" 10 min tests charged at £25 set to be launched in 2021. .M cap £ 400m
- Deepverge breathalyzer £4 a chip (per test), plus £20 for breathalyzer , plus £x for replacement mist cannister . And "DVD "reading machine £xxxx initially. Combined market capital £60m
- TT electronics have a partnership with iAbra. No biochemistry/cell biology involved , only microscopic and AI work. Suggested added value to company was £220m on COVID news but many have criticized accuracy/sensitivity. Cost of microscopic and AI machine £20,000. Cost per test £10.
- Paraytec. Clever two stage test utilizing self developed aptamer with secondary thorough test utilizing miniaturized light detection technology. Cost /sensitivity unknown. Market cap £13m.
Whatever happens on Friday ,with Paraytec at least they own their own IP unlike Deepverge or even TTG. Should be an interesting ride on Friday negative or positive ;-)
