The proof on concept is outrageous and probably too far ahead of its time. It's difficult for market to understand so I totally empathize. From proof of concept to market there is also a long way to go. IF they can pull it off, the fall from 52p to 33p here will seem like a little momentary blip.

Novacyt were in an area of doubt when the drop happened, I rememeber that too well.. People were not sure if the virus would last this long either. Only until March /April did British companiese start to copy their PCR template for success. Companies like Genedrive have tried to replicate this plan but failed, as a result they are still trying to pick up from ncyts leftovers and still failed at that!

Lesson is always be first to market when others doubt . Paraytec are in no doubt a similar position. They stand to benefit enormously if light sensor tech for presence of intact virus / level of infection takes off. The payoff is enormous, but keep the noise down till december would you all?!

Wouldn't speak too soon jodrell as this is AIM and as you know anything can happen. Brh have a totally disruptive and different product which could change everything in this covid world. Next year could well come down to PCR v CAPTURE+ light detection. Both would of course, yield different results due the CAPTURE detection of intact virus, and PCR being so sensitive capturing every fragment including dead virus strains. This may solve the problem of asymptomatic and symptomatic patients too.

As brh are first to the scene with this technology, Brh could be absolutely worthless or worth several hundred million next year. Either way, the SP movements won't be boring

Instead of ranting about the small market cap and the sector we are in, it is more important for people to know the unique technology this has compared to all other diagnostics stocks and the change this could bring . The stake value of the mask business we have is nothing in comparison the covid detection technology we have here .

And if all this is proven, the diagnostics market dynamic for covid 19 could change as PCR could be deemed too sensitive . Instead of PCR which detects (dead) fragments of the virus, the lab market may well switch to light detection instead. It would be huge shift to make this switch but currently, PCR, POC, LFT are seemingly not effective in preventing future waves

I think "wow" should be for the fact we can scan for the intact virus and not giving the so called "infected " false positives . This happens for 90% of people who test positive on PCR . It's difficult for the market or normal people to understand but with this test it genuinely could be a worldwide game changer. We could genuinely isolate the real positive people and do away with lockdowns forever.

It is very important people understand this and the worldwide potential this holds.

I know how the stock market works, and seen these rise fall patterns hundreds of times on AIM. So far extremely predictable here . If you have the money and patience , now is the time to buy at sub 30p before news really gets out and people go crazy for this. I'm not to concerned about market cap or sp right now but the USP and advantageous technological aspects over other tests means a total monopoly in the sector if true .

Tom, Unfortunately, the market doesn't believe a test can be that good. I think the market is used to the TTG lies and DVRG exaggerations and complications, and just doesn't believe anything here. The lack of media certainly doesn't help either.

Kainos, it's because nobody really believes a covid diagnostics system which can detect the virus intact and determine the level of infection can exist. I sometimes can't quite believe it either sometimes .

Basically, go to January when novacyt initiated research and people had doubts about everything. We are more or less in the same situation of doubt, hence the volatility .

As we all know , the sp should go down tomorrow. If it does go to 25p , I might borrow £60k from my brother and ask him to buy in for me, though just hoping it stays this price until December.

He is clearly referring to paraytec's test as there has been no other testing breakthrough the past 5 days. Everyone knows about LFT,PCR, POC ...etc... So it is clearly paraytecs.
Shame the market doesn't believe a diagnostic product can be that great or believable in this situation.

Prior to Friday's huge announcement when we were 36-38p it would have been interesting if the proof of concept failed as we probably would be at 15p. Success actually carried this a 12 year high and back down to 33p as is AIM. Suggesting a net 10% loss over positive news . Defo not boring here especially with no other diagnostic tool doing anything to dent the covid curve.

Fully agree OR. Share trading or even investing is like musical chairs. Doesn't matter how good a company stock is , all companies suffer from pump and dump events in their early stages
