DA's strategy is: hope.
Lol
I'm reading Tom Winnifrith's articles on SP and his points are valid. He probably caused the recent slide but the DHSC doesn't stand much chance against NCYT tbh. This would be the first time a government health Division has actually claimed and won against a testing company worldwide. The UK government is so skint and corrupt rn they kinda need every penny though. But if ncyt's tests were faulty , the disease mutation was so novel to this generation at the time they could still claim every major global health organisation standard passed it off at the time and acted in good faith. As for the counter claim ncyt is claiming for , all is dependent on black and white signed evidence. If ncyt have no contract , their claim is toast .
As some guy said it's well below the RSI line on the charts and trading at a quarter it's NAV and I no longer hold any ncyt but I'll prob jump back in next year. Sold for loss circa 115p months ago in fact , timing is everything I guess and hope to jump back in at the right time . All in all, there is plenty of upside here , but the SP will almost certainly go 50-60p range , just because that's the way markets work .
Meantime ncyt will drag on lower and lower . I'll prob buy back in at 60p . Those who are currently shorting this on 10x leverage+ are smart so far but not me.
Don't expect a 1200p offer lol. It will get bought on its NAV value just below 300p. Biosynex and co were all buying this at 240p after all. The court case is going to drag on for years pmsl
PMSL. Ncyt trading at half its cash value and nearly one quarter it's NAV. LOL
Not sure if this so worth shorting tbh. I did sell most of my ncyt at 115p after directors upped their salary though. Ncyt still have £100m cash and the m cap is £60m lol. Market seem to think they will lose the dhsc case and we know that will never in a million years happen as it would mean all the Chinese and American PPE / testing companies will prob get lawsuits too ....and we know it ain't gonna happen.
Honestly , most testing companies trade at 3 times their cash value and it's bizarre what's going on . Plus , you add the fact ncyt's total assets total £180m lol, you begin to think the market makers can bring down to whatever value they want, hence why I sold. In fact, looking at the average value of other testing companies to cash value , the value of ncyt should be £3 rn
Actually I think yr right. It always felt like ncyt were the ones taking action against them since they announced it on 9th April. It's weird ncyt are countersuing for less as that never happens.
As per ncyt rnses, the dhsc were happy with the first batch of tests so hastily signed another contract and reordered. In fact they did that with multiple UK based testing companies not just ncyt. The problem with ncyt is that they jumped the gun and were not patient and stupidly did a lawsuit against the DHSC. That clearly p1$$ed them off and we knew they would counter sue for more.
Drb83, you forget the fact novacyt instigated the case and not the dhsc. This is significant and not the amounts involved. As you saw in Depp Vs Heard case, Depp instigated a court case against his ex for $50m and then she subsequently sued for $100m. As we all know we know who won.
Truth is, novacyt are never gonna make anything from COVID anymore . This should be 240p based on NAV and 350p when they win Court case. Facts
I'm pretty sure they will return 90% of the cash to shareholders after the dhsc case. I mean , ncyt do not need that kind of money
Instead of incinerating their written off tests they should defo donate. 100% agree but we know they won't as they are too arrogant and proud.
Ncyt seems to be the only UK listed COVID stock trading below its NAV. Lol. I mean it's just bizarre, with a revised NAV of £170m near 240p. AVCT have £26m cash , £41m in net assets yet trade at £260m market cap . MHC and ODX trade at double . I mean a lot of it has to to do with the way the RNSs have been worded, but my word what a ****show from DA. Lol.
After happy with the first batch initially, the dhsc I thought were scheduled to pay the remaining £100m. So yeah covering £60 m for written off costs is moreorless in the bag as this abides with contract law in the UK. Interest payments I'm not sure too
Instead of rushing out to the lawyers, ncyt should of tried the abx and odx approach trying to settle like reasonable human beings instead of burning bridges
Who me? Nah I just tell as it is. BA4 5 looking nasty for winter after this summer wave is over. I'm not sure if novacyt can capitalize tbh. But the amount of cash they got and will get from Dhsc we shall see.
Nah it can't reach £0.5. after deductions they have £170m in assets rn. Both ODX and MHC trade at double their NAV . At some point ncyt will return all the cash to shareholders and DA will prob leave. The DHSC case is a slam dunk win but they will cut all lucratuve business ties with them in the future which is a shame.
I remember Argo Blockchain was in a similar predicament a while back at one thirtieth the price . Their business model was based on renting mining machines out as a service and stuck at 1-2p range .subsequently the founders were ousted and pw took the company in the right direction
Odx and MHC are trading at double their NAV. LOL. u gotta laugh at novacyt where it is trading at half its NAV for some reason unknown
Exit meaning novacyt giving the £180m cash back to shareholders? I think that would settle everything . I remember with BRH we did the same thing, Amazingly enough the share price tanked as expected after the handout then recovered back near to pre levels shortly after. Same thing happened with the Tesco cashback scenario recently and at some point it's a certainty to happen here too. I think ncyt will rebound to £1 after the cashback just like with BRH and tesco.
Shares rarely reach NAV value unless there is a takeover or they return cash back to shareholders
Short term this can go 90p once summer wave goes down. I'd use a 3x leverage short with 5% stop loss so 15% max liquidation point. Day before Yesterday was really where the money was at shorting really. Chances of winning Dhsc case are 100% so there is always that danger news could pop soon so keep shorting risk low.
