I think GameStop pump is fake and engineered by MMs and hedgefunds. Same guys that are writing call options like citadel work closely with hedgefunds. Hedgefunds see data ahead of everyone. In order to screw the shorts, wallstreetbets must gain control of the BOD, issue new shares at steep premium, pay down debt, invest like crazy in the online unit. The only thing they are doing is allowing LTH to sell at huge profit, debt remains the same, business hasn’t changed. Same thing with AMC, the mania makes zero sense.......debt needs to be paid while new investment in growth is essential. AMC can sustain the hype by launching AMC+ streaming platform.

The online world, streaming, shopping are not social enough to replace real experience. I agile first date with your girlfriend.......do you invite her to your parent’s house and watch a old movie? Do you cook for her in your kitchen? Do you browse together online to do some shopping? A real sociable person would say NO! Feck the useless fake world trying to replace the real thing.

Not sure MMs here would write huuuuge call options on RMM. The house always wins, those still in GameStop will have to close once call options get reprised at zero to minimum margin. I don’t know if wallstreetbet guys could come up with 10 - 15 billion to buy real stock in a company not worth 3 billion.

It’s not a smart fight against Wall Street, a company needs to be bought out properly. The reddit guys need to buy all GameStop’s bonds and control the board......if I was GameStop ceo, I would flood the market with new shares, pay down debt, invest in online platform.

Interactive broker is great, American company. The problem with the U.K market is that the MMs, elites, CEOs, board members and shorts target retail traders. They promote spreadbets and CFDs here but those are banned in America. I wrote to FCA to ban them and ask brokers to simply lend real cash to traders to buy real stocks or options instead of the leverage garbage they are peddling.
The FCA is crooked, evil and part of the scam that is holding the country back. The CEOs are in bed with pension funds who use stocks as bond proxy. They get divi and interest from lending out shares.......they effectively keep shares grounded. They can never lose because they receive bonds as collateral.
Value Names to trade on Nasdaq.......Ford, GM, AT&T, Nokia, Kraft Heinz, Verizon. They will bounce back quicker even in a recession.

Great stuff, I’m happy you started investing in stocks with positive story and hype. Dead money stocks like Vod attract pension funds who are vampires. They buy shares then lend them out to MMs and shorts who flood the market with enormous amount of traceable shares.

I want to get sucked into all of this, $4 billion worth of bid pressure on Vodafone ADRs would move the market. NR, his convertible bond syndicate and his MM friends can simply flood the market with more shares and convertible bonds, so it’s not a solid plan.

AMC and GameStop can easily issue new shares at market price now to wipeout their debt. Cine can do the same.

I thought you were a guru when it comes to making money! VOD ADRs on nasdaq can be traded in dollars at zero stamp duty / zero cost. The only way the platform makes money is a cut of the spread that the market makers make (rebate for routing orders) and of course fx conversion spread. IG has jumped on this too and now offering free trades after one month of trading. IBKR - interactive Brokers are another option.
My aim is to avoid paying the crown any money since I’m not guaranteed to make any.

Haha, hot money is going after shorts now! I think most will dump bitcoin to jump into GameStop or AMC. Who knows where the next target is.....
