RE: The British shares on a 50pc 'Brexit' discount – for a limited time only22 Feb 2021 10:40
Rod,
I want BT to do well and hope the SP moves above 200p. Inflation is BT’s best hope as it would decimate pension deficit and debt while being able to raise prices in tandem with inflation.
This just confirms that the U.K and LSE are dull. I see 10p within 3 months.......any big win plus sponsorships would get us to 15p quickly. Don’t trade this, buy and hold for 50p.

You cannot compare Unilever to Nestle, DT is much bigger than BT........in short U.K companies have plague. Look to EM and sadly U.S for share price growth as U.K companies don’t care about sp growth. They offer dividend with one hand but take your capital with the other. MMs and shorts love U.K market. FTSE 100 is below its 1999 level.........wow F me!
Forget about the strike, focus on oil price and gas prices..........the upward pressure will kill those new competitors who can’t handle huge losses on derivatives and sudden jump of spot prices. Even the dumb Ofgem had to increase the price cap. Very soon Ofgem would be disbanded and Centrica would be free to increase prices.
Blackrock is the biggest money manager, they lend out shares in the funds / ETFs they manage. Blackrock is solid and can never lose. The short means nothing is gonna happen for a while..................so sad how they keep U.K shares down but pump U.S shares.
Guess not much retail buying here!18 Feb 2021 10:07
Come on moaners, just keep buying instead of expecting rns or some headline news on bbc. Buying pressure needed here........tell your friends and fam to buy this thing!!!
Dumb money is piling into cannabis, shame when hydrogen tech is needed to transform energy landscape. Bitcoin and cannabis.......very unproductive! I hope we don’t need to offer huge discount in case of any new placing.
RE: Entrance into health market ?17 Feb 2021 23:09
BT can do anything they want if they employ the right people to run the project. Apple did make mobile phones and killed off Nokia and Blackberry. We lack visionary CEOs in the U.K but it’s not too late to dabble.
Back in March 20, both the index and major oil like BP got smashed. Never recovered like the rest........oil price is low, ftse only has oil and miners. Guess what copper, oil and other metals are higher than back then. WTF is wrong with the U.K market and anything listed on LSE?
Investors would prefer to invest in Openreach alone or EE and its wireless towers. BT can do a lot better to boost the SP but I guess they work with MMs. Pubs, Airlines and cinemas have recovered better than BT...............Jansen is a joke!
RE: Why have LG recalled their ITV shareholding...?15 Feb 2021 10:56
I think iTV needs help from a global media company. The U.K market is too small to focus on, with a brand like “iTV” so similar to Apple brand........why not just copy Netflix? Include limited but quality ads to go along with quality drama / movie.
I think commodity market is about to tank, I don’t trust the evil bankers........they always hype up a sector when they are ready to sell. Big boys sell into rallies while bag holders sell in downturn.
15p coming soon, may be 10p.........the two wolves will savage the SP to buy more. Standstill expired so someone is buying off market after orchestrating the dire rns.
