I just hope there is gold in Wales, I personally doubt it because the English had to raid the whole world after running out of every resources they hard. There must have been wild animals in the U.K before but not anymore.

Do you trade the Nasdaq listed VOD to save on stamp duty? I have been trying to master GSK ADR but the pound is a crazy currency. Surely the MMs and prop traders must be making serious money out of this volume and tight range.

Pls do your own research, Max is 1% of your portfolio for each micro cap / aim company. I focus on hot sector first then look for a company that could provide hype via RNS (over promise like Tesla). Social media buzz and die hard buyers on BB is a must. Don’t forget to sell before things get boring.

Nasdaq listed micro caps are my next target........cash must work hard and not sit in a “widow maker” stock like VOD.

You sound just like me a year ago, I would not put more than 1% of portfolio in one AIM stock yet I put 15% in Vod due to aggressive averaging down. I already said to robleo, it’s about the sector first then the company. Telecoms ain’t just hot for now sorry..........inflation will bring more pension funds back into this.

VOD is the “widow maker” share that sucks a lot of people in. I figured out we might be stuck here until inflation spikes above 2.5% hence why new money must be invested elsewhere.

See you can be down 40% in an AIM stock but could be positive in a day after a good rns, sector wide positive rumour. You can go back to my earlier post........gotta put small money in them but buy a lot.

I think U.S trading is driving this as it turned green once TLSA opened higher.

TLSA opened up blue unlike the sad U.K market that is manipulated. No more U.K shares for me, just going to swap my holding for similar companies listed in U.S.

The 100% 1 day rise was orchestrated by CB and those who took part in the placing. Let’s see if they can repeat same move again.

I think you are too smart to be spending so much quality time researching U.K companies. Your focus should be on American companies......you will do 10x better. I am sure you are doing great already. Started trading Ford, GM, Nokia, Intel, Pfizer lately as IG was offering free trades. Only downside is a strong pound but the shares move to positive news and better fundamentals. They don’t sulk on huge debt / pension deficit like here.

We need Elon musk clone as CEO.........watch BT hit £100 a share.

He would scrap divi and use the cash for;

Payment / fintech startup (just for hype + low operating costs)
Blockchain / crypto startup ( just for hype + negligible costs)
Starlink copycat startup (just for hype + prototypes stage only)
Zoom copycat (more hype)
AWS copycat (more hype)

Once we get to a crazy high SP, start placing shares...........raise enough money to invest in the startups above and take market share in Europe from the American big tech.

Would be nice to get some crazy American traders to jump on BT. if they buy enough shares, they can sack the board, Sue them for incompetence and claw back bonuses and share awards.
They can install one of their own mini “Elon musk” as CEO......gamestop rally is a monster and that’s on a failing retail business. If they jump on BT, we could hit 500p within a week as it is a real business that needs good management.

How about convert shopping malls to fancy warehouse for click & collect, bulk purchases and dispatching online orders. If retail booms ever booms again, just do hybrid malls........half warehouse / half stores.

The guy should be told to shut up, he could have done what he’s now advocating for when he was PM. I think he should be banned from making statements in the media.

Back to 120p soon at this rate.........no good reason though. I would not use covid-19 as an excuse. Huawei removal costs can be recovered from the govt one way or the other. The debt would soon be eaten away by inflation. Premier league is also not affected this time around.
