So I've been visiting New York during Thanksgiving/ Black Friday for years and normally pay around £800/£900 for a return premium economy ticket.. Just logged on to my account and see a return ECONOMY ticket is £2600 return plus tax .. economy plus about £150 more.. Are they taking the p***? Discuss... and dissgusted !

My neighbors who are from Brazil had their reletives go back home for christmas.. Of course my neighbor picked all five of them from the airport and they proceeded to go in the house for a lengthy amount of time.. Just one tiny example of stupididty by both our goverment and large parts of our society . To add to this an elderly neighbor spent 10 minutes talking to them within less than two metres away.

Surprised the sp held up well as it did during the last half hour considering the news from south america et all. Let's hope we dont lose all of todays gains tomorrow.
